I've been hopin'... but i've been let down in the last, oh, 11 Presidential election( if anything, just to have more choices)... so i'm not figuring it's gonna happen anytime soon.

Yeah, but really only the last 3-4 had REALLY sucky candidates from BOTH parties. Maybe Ford/Carter was as bad, or Humphries/Nixon, but I don't think even those were.

Plus, if that team is holding the other team at bay, what does it say about the supposedly better team's diehard fans when they make excuses? Denial, that's what.

Actually no. Villains from 80's comedies routinely wore an ascot, or at least had their pastel sweaters tied around their necks.

In all seriousness, nobody likes Romney because what we can all agree on, whatever you believe, is that he has no principles except to himself. There are only two arguments I've heard (from conservatives) for why anybody would vote for him: federal judge appointees and the belief that he will toe the line with his base.
