Erick Erickson is not sounding very confident that Mitt Romney can win this race and I agree. For all the management experience Romney is supposed to have, his campaign seems to be mismanaged from the beginning. Good God, can you imagine what would happen to our country if by some fluke he actually was elected?

President Obama stick it to Mittens.

Contra Dick Morris, Mitt Romney is not winning this election. At least Mitt Romney is not winning the election right now. Conservatives are obsessing over every poll, the turn out models used, and the media bias that is on ful display. Yes, some of the polling models seem screwy, though we all forget the pollsters apply a secret sauce known only to them on top. Yes, reporters are fully beclowning themselves to get their god-king re-elected. But while we may be focused there, the fact is the Romney campaign isn’t functioning well. Lucky for you and me the election is not today. But something needs to happen in Boston and I am less and less hopeful anything will happen.

True enough, but it wouldn't be a huge win. Obama's only up 3-4% right now, and still with the lingerings of a convention bounce. Polls show Obama up in some key states, but his leads in Virginia, Wisconsin, Colorado, Florida, and Iowa are all less than 3%. Obama would win if the race was held today, but it is not out of reach for Romney by any means.

Most of the Electoral map polls say Obama will win if it were held today. Even Rasmussen which is right leaning has Obama winning:

As much as they want to twist it around - Obama will win. It will not be by as much as 2008 but he will win.
I agree, it's amazing that the economy is still hurting and Romney is supposed to be such a great manager that he's not at least a half of a dozen points ahead by now. In 2008 Barack Obama had a superbly managed campaign and this one appears to be well managed as well.

GO OBAMA!!

It shouldn't be any surprise that Obama would win Today, Tomorrow, Next Tuesday, and will do so in November.

Willard "Mitt" Romney is simply a caucasian clone of Obama. At least in every reasonably important fashion, he is. Therefore, the voters that Romney most needs to have ANY chance to win (those of us on the RIGHT) will not support him. We will instead sit aside, watch Romney do a political "hangman's dance" as he strangles to death, as we make sure that the true arbitors of our viewpoint are cleaned, well-oiled, and loaded for bear.

A win is a win no matter how close it is.

I was just saying it isn't out of reach.

When he pushes crap like this it will get further out of reach, in my opinion.

We'll see. I doubt that statement will push too many people out of Romney's camp. Statements like that don't move the needle very much. The problem is that it is another news cycle spent on Romney and not on Obama. A pretty big problem since there are only 50 days left to make up the ground.

Yeah, Obama will win.

I'm voting for Gary Johnson, though, in protest over the War in Afghanistan.
