First articles on what went wrong with Romney campaign are out

Obama's Presidency is a failure on every conceivable measure

His Foreign Policy is a disaster which currently is in complete meltdown mode

Oh look! Politico focuses on a smear piece attacking Romney! Let's mock him, feel cool and trendy. Now where were we? Oh yea ... 6 trillion spent with the result being 19% Real Unemployment. Just another example of the MSM "narrative trolling" trying to deflect attention and criticism away from Obama and onto his opponent

Inside the campaign: How Mitt Romney stumbled - Mike Allen and Jim VandeHei - POLITICO.com

Quite an interesting story if true. Explains a lot why the Romney campaign is failing so badly at the moment.

I think the GOP want Romney to lose, that way they will have either Jeb Bush or Chris Christie in place for 2016. If you watched the RNC, Jeb Bush talked about his record as governor. In fact hardly anyone speaking at the RNC mentioned Romney more than twice.
Anyway, that is my opinon.

Bronson, I think you'll fit in better here more people who share your views. Go ahead give it whirl.

Fox News - Breaking News Updates | Latest News Headlines | Photos & News Videos

Normally I'd ask "and how exactly had foreign policy failed due to some stupid video?". "Since when was 4 = 6 and 8 = 19". But I know Bronson here is a lost cause. If you're referring to people over 18 not working then ya 19% sounds right but keep in mind if you go by those standards every president has much higher numbers not just Obama.

Not really an interesting story...unless you find misrepresentation, hyperbole and downright spin to be interesting. Heck, the title of the article says it all with the word "stumbles". I haven't seen Romney's campaign stumble yet.

Well the fact you have not seen them stumble only show how little you have been focusing on his campaign.

Perhaps you...who have obviously focused on his campaign...can educate me on these alleged stumbles. The writer of the article you referenced sure didn't.

Republican lawmakers say Romney campaign needs to change course - The Hill - covering Congress, Politics, Political Campaigns and Capitol Hill | TheHill.com

Republican lawmakers are grumbling about the direction of Mitt Romney’s campaign and say he needs to change course.

The complaints come as polls show that Romney lost ground on President Obama following the party’s respective conventions in Tampa, Fla. and Charlotte, N.C.

The GOP members say Romney must do a better job of communicating to voters what to expect of him, either by making a bold pledge akin to George H.W. Bush’s 1988 “no new taxes” promise or fleshing policy proposals with more details.

“Papa Bush was down after the Democratic convention in 1988, people worried he couldn’t come back and then he made his ‘read my lips, no new taxes’ pledge,” said one senator who requested anonymity.
The Republican said Romney should make a concise, bold promise to reform wasteful spending in Washington.

“He should say, ‘I’m a money manager and I will manage your money in Washington. I will eliminate waste, fraud and abuse. Obama wants you to send more money so he can spend more money.’”

Some GOP senators are worried that Romney has yet to give voters a clear vision of what to expect if he is to become president.

Sorry. Not stumbles. Merely other GOP members who have their own advice.

Show me a stumble.

The convention speech is a fine example. A hall full of veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan and not a single mention of either war?

Hmmm...

Maybe what we have here is a different understanding of what a "stumble" is.

To me, a stumble is something like what the Democrats did during their convention. You remember when they displayed the great picture of our Navy? Only it wasn't our Navy...it was Russia's Navy.

Sure, that was a stumble. So was Romney's lack of respect for the troops.

(I'm not a Democrat, by the way; more, I used to be a Republican. You don't have to play the "see? the Democrats do it, too!" game with me.)

These things matter. It would have been a forgivable oversight had Romney's speech been well-delivered or particularly charismatic. But it's clear that he's not cut out for public speaking.

Is there something that says we have to do what liberals want in order to be elected? Uh, I don't think so....Vets were not focused on because Romney was speaking directly to them in that same week...See, personally I hope that liberals continue to tell themselves, through liberal hack media, and their own echo chamber that they have it all wrapped up....Then do us a favor will ya? Don't forget that election day is on Nov. 7th this year....

Have fun with your own little circle jerk of like minded rubes all chattering the same thing....I personally am laughing at you.

Ya "they do it too" doesn't make it right. That is one of the worst mentalities.

I wouldn't know; I'm not a liberal.

Lets see..

He said he was unemployed to a bunch of unemployed people.. he is worth over 200 million dollars. He stated that his wife drove a couple of Cadillacs. His whole Europe tour was one stumble after another. And there are all his flip-flops.... the list of stumbles is as long as his car elevator in his "small" house in California, because there is not enough space in a 3 bedroom 12 million dollar house for him and his wife... And then there was President Ryan at the announcement of his running mate.. Need I go on?

Oh, I see...you consider your hyperbolic bias against him as being stumbles. Like that "President Ryan" thing.

Never mind, Pete. I thought you had some real discussion thing going on here.

Oh, well.

I assure you I'm not playing that game. I only used that Democratic stumble as an example. This isn't about the Democrats, after all.

As far as Romney not being cut out for public speaking, perhaps the people at the convention who heard him speak would have a different opinion, eh? They seemed to like his speech.

In fact, the only ones saying derogatory things about his speech are those who don't like Romney to begin with.

Well the fact you have not seen them stumble only show how little you have been focusing on his campaign.

Hmmm, how do you explain the polls that have romney ahead or tied with obama?

No, we know that you love obama the magnificent kenyan messiah and will continue to lie and misrepresent the facts in a vain attempt to give your hero another term to complete the destruction of the american economy and culture. we know what you are pete

Oh please, if one can't see there are two big circle jerk rings here then that must mean you are the pivot man in one of the circle jerk rings. Lets be honest here, crying out loud.
