Obama vs. Romney Electoral Map

Rather than a sort of close race we might see another blowout by the Democrats. Romney's bungling foreign policy statements completely nuked the campaign. I guess all those wealthy super-pac donors should save their money, they won't be getting favors in return from Romney, lol.

another blowout? When was the last one?

looking at it objectively, there's still a long time until the election. if current trends hold, Obama has the edge, but my own feeling is the victory won't be as decisive as the 2008 results. i should also point out that the link in the OP is huffington post.

ok ok, we'r better than this. We should stop rubbing it in that the bad side is going to lose.

The debates should give Obama a boost.

Yeah... I would trust the Huffington Post's electoral map. RealClearPolitics is good for polling data and predictions.

Obama is up, but I think it's largely due to a convention boost. We should wait until after the debates before giving anyone a victory since they are 3 points apart when it comes to the general voting population.

If you're talking about the presidential election, it was hardly a blowout. And, BTW, did you notice how the mid-terms went? That's the biggest blowout, by any party, in history.

I don't think you can rate Florida or Virginia as leaning Obama considering that even in the midst of his convention bounce he's only up less than a percent in Virginia and just over a percent in Florida. Also, Romney's statement hasn't been reflected in the polls yet. You don't know how it will affect the race.

Looking at the map they literally called every state that had any kind of majority for Obama as an Obama won state. There were no swing states besides Iowa which has Obama up by 2 points, coincidentally other states that were in 1-2 points like Virginia and Wisconsin were given to Obama. I really like the RCP data, they list each poll they used and what the values were for each poll. What they present is an average of the polling data.

His bungling foreign policy statements? You've got to be kidding me. Our President complete failed every one of our embassies. This fiasco is costing us billions of dollars. And you're worried about what a politician with absolutely no power had to say about it?

Click "NO TOSS UPS MAP", boom headshot.

First, it's way too early to predict a winner, let alone a landslide victory.

Second, Romney is a good man and has some experience that the country could use. It would be a shame if he doesn't succeed in his election bid, however....

A landslide Obama victory would have one positive effect: We'd all get to see Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck's heads explode. Wouldn't that be a sight to see?

He may have power come Nov, so it is important.

only blowout I saw was called the Midterms 2 years ago... when the DEMs got told their plan was not wanted, so they doubled down..
