Geez....if by your standard, AQ is "playing" Obama, then they must have made W their absolute bit*#. They were able to get W to enter into 2 illegal wars in 2 countries, kill hundreds of thousands of innocents not associated with AQ, spend over $2 TRILLION in borrowed, interest bearing funds, create tens of thousands of US casualties that we will be caring for decades into the future, not to mention their dependents.....

Yeah....they are "playing" Obama, while he continues to eliminate their numbers at a relative insignificant cost.

more americans have died in afghanistan during obama's 4 years than during bush's 8 years. Its obama's war now. He has the blood of those american kids on his hands.

why are we still there, what is being accomplished?

Um, no, it is around 50/50 since Obama can't be held responsible for all of the 2009 casualties, he followed the Generals recommendations, he did not start the war in Afghanistan, and this becomes the classic "dammed if you do, dammed if you don't" argument. That is a totally dishonest argument for a "conservative" to make.

nice try, but its a simple body count. if the generals were wrong and he went with their recommendations, then its on him, he is CIC. no buck passing allowed.

Again, you are making a totally dishonest argument as a "conservative", if he did not pursue the Bush agenda, ignored the Generals, he would have been blamed for "losing" Afghanistan.....just as he was lambasted for the Iraq pullout by the RW.

And if this was a total surprise, then our intelligence apparatus is faulty. Why were there no preparations for something to happen on the anniversary of the WTC attack - 9/11??

Even I suspected something MIGHT happen over there - it would seem that our agents in place would have been on some sort of high alert and some sort of protection would have been in place 'just in case.'

Oh for crying out loud. People have no clue what they are doing anymore I am posting from canada with hopes to reach out to americans. I think americans can be cool people and some are smart. But listen admit you ****ed up! Alright. You people elected bush two times bam! Economy goes down war starts, vets die, people lose houses and can't support family's, Then you vote for someone that is so simple minded and is making a fool out of you're country as obama. The real ignorant part is to think Romney would have done better. Both Obama and Romney are lousy leaders because both play into the dividing game and not the uniting game. Romney with his 47% comment CHOSE to divide. Both Romney and Obama talk about how bad it is to send jobs overseas, but BOTH have contributed to it. Both have increased government spending. Obama as president and Romney as governor. There is no difference between the GOP and the Dems except for benefactors of the government money that they divide up amongst themselves and those that cater to them.

Until people wake up and realize that the GOP and Dems are the real problems NOTHING in this country will change. Under GOP presidents we have seen the debt increase and government spending increase, under Dem presidents we have seen the debt and government spending increase. There is no real difference. Both have taken us over the cliff and the only question now is how hard are we going to hit when we get to the bottom.
