The embassy apologized for people who deliberately insulted muslims. Our illustrious OP seems to have translated "muslims" as "terrorists."

I don't know. Maybe they should be condemning the actions of misguided individuals who tore down our flag. Funny how I never see any statements like this when Christians are intentionally insulted.

I find this statement more of an insult to Muslims though. As if all Muslims are such thin skinned ******s that they must riot over any slight insult. Most don't. Most are better than that. So its not 'Muslim feelings'.

Does government issue an apology for every movie that insults Christians? Jews? Buddhists? Hindus? Gingers? Last was for laughs as they don't care...no souls.

In all seriousness, this is just stupid and seems like weak pandering. Statement should have said, "In the United States of America, we support the right of free speech," and thats it. I can't even find out what movie they're so pissed off about.

The people who were insulted and decided to take action are terrorists. I wouldn't be surprised if each had the blood of Coptic children on their hands.

please do let us remember the great **** you to first responders the republicans gave when the heroes who rescued people that day asked for help covering their medical costs because they selflessly ran into the clouds of lung clogging crap to save some people. It was important that we lowered taxes on the rich so romney could have his dancing horse. We wouldn't want to worry about the heroes charred lungs when we could have tax breaks for dressage instead.

you should be ashamed to support a person like Romney who thinks that him having to pay some taxes to support those people like firemen, rescue workers, and police who would selflessly help him if he needed it. Instead he would love to get rid of their jobs because it costs him a small bit of the overwhelming income he gets every year. Don't think the real world forgot that.

You're so ****ing worried about your imaginary pride, your ego, equality, your precious religion being treated fairly you forget what actually matters here. Anti-American sentiment brought on by any perceived insults endanger our troops and citizens in the middle east. Stop being so selfish, so worried about your Christianity getting slighted in favor of Muslims. Here in the U.S. the majority is white Christians, that's why talking **** about whites or Christians is not a big deal, you're not getting picked on, you're the majority, you get everything you want, stfu and be happy about it.

Thanks for that needed the laugh. Anyway, Muslims make up the majority of the middle east, so shouldn't it be OK to "insult" them....at least according to the ridiculous rant you just spouted? They surely insult the minorities in predominantly Muslim nations, right? Whats good for the goose, is good for the gander...right?

Funny seeing people defend a culture that consistently treat women as second class, as demonstrated in Egypt, adamantly opposed to free speech, actually kill homosexuals for....well, being homosexual.

And the troops are in danger just being there! Some silly movie or statement doesn't mean a hill beans to some douchebag Taliban/Al Queda fighter in eastern Afghanistan hiding behind innocent civilians as he takes shot at the troops deployed there.

Nice appel to emotion there, but maye you might try appealing to the facts: Firemen, rescue workers and police are funded by local taxes. Federal taxes primarily deal with wealth transfers, not services.

The GOP voted down a bill to provide funding for healthcare of 9/11 first responders because the Bush Administration's tax cuts hadn't been extended yet.

The part about federal taxes "primarily dealing with wealth transfers" is just absurd.
