No matter how much the right bash's the President seems to thrive and survive.

What is it my friends? I have heard it all. Obama's policy's have hurt the economy and he has done a terrible job. He has bowed to leaders of other nations. He has said he was sorry to everybody. In spite of all this He is still ahead in most polls. What is it that makes this fact?

Uneducated Americans who vote for President of the free world as if it's some kind of high school "best dressed" contest......

Ignore his results, and vote for him anyway.....cause he's cool with the college kids, women, and minorities. He's cool because he gives us free stuff. He promises to give us more free stuff, and all we have to do is vote and support him....

So, you wanna know why people support him? Hmm, great question. And out of all the answers people cite for supporting Obama, I've never heard "because look at the economy, it's doing great, people are back to work, and America is on the right track".

You're a poll watcher it appears....take a look at that poll, and explain that one to me.....right track/wrong track polling. Pretty ironic wouldn't you say? 62% say WRONG TRACK, while only 31% say RIGHT TRACK. Weird huh?

The encumbant always has a tremendous advantage unless something disasterous happens. It's as simple as that.

I may be accused or racism, but my answer is, black pride, white guilt, and an ignorant population.

By all rights Romney should be winning this election. Don't tell be Romney is the Al Gore of the GOP. You know losing an election that he should have won. What do Romney and Gore have in common? It is not their politics that is for sure but the fact they are both stiffs. I do think Romney is less of a dweeb than Gore but a dweeb he is. By all rights that should not matter as much as smarts but we all know how shallow the American voter can be. If the GOP loses this election then they need to start looking at why. I can tell them why. All I saw in this last GOP field was far right crazies and business nerds. I don't think you can win with either choice.

I am just asking why. I know the polls change like the wind but Romney is pulling a Al Gore. Blowing a election he should win.

We have become a nation of idiots.

We are following the pattern of every failed civilization in history, We are voting leg tingles rather than actually thinking.

Its far from over, Dukakis was up 17 points at this time.

I expect to see him use that powerful advantage much more in his second term. I'm delighted the Chicago teachers' strike happened now rather than after the election. We would be hearing much more out of him if that were the case.

That is what I've been posting, some people just chose to read only what they like. The exact reason why I'm not voting for Romney is he's a retard and will crash our economy.

Our economy is MUCH better then when former President Bush left office. Romney's fired more people than he hired.

That is true but remember that was in July not Sept. It is alot later and if you are banking on Obama getting ran over in the debates then you have another thing coming. I think Obama is a great debater and remember Romney was always the boss and won every debate because he could always pull rank. Those guys are not good debaters for the most part. I could be wrong but I don't think so.

Is that why when you look at demographics and statistics, the higher the education level, the more liberal one intends to be?

what you forget is that obama can't use his teleprompter in a debate, he will have to ad lib. when he ad libs he says things like "you didn't build it" and " we need to redistribute the wealth" When he is off promter he reveals his true ideology, and I don't think the american voters are ready for a marxist dictator.

Romney and Ryan will crush obama and biden with facts and logic, even though the liberal moderators will be throwing set-up questions at them and soft balls to obama/biden.

Then why do liberals dominate higher education? If they where so stupid then why do they dominate the news the way they do? You are doing your side a diservice if you think liberals are stupid. Our way of thinking has been around for 300 years and as much as you conservatives don't want to admit it you need us as much as we need you. What is the rights strenth is our weakness and our strenth is your weakness so it evens out in the end. You know checks and balence. Without it both sides can be facist.

They do not show that unless you only sample college campuses and the city of Washington DC.

In general the old saying applies: if not liberal when young, you have no heart, if not conservative when older, you have no brain.

when half of the country is suckling from the public teat and there are lots of people who have been conditioned to blame the winners for they being losers, it does not surprise me in the least.

In 2008, many people were tired of Bush, tired of war, and believed the BS the media spewed. They voted for Obama for many reasons, one of the least relevant being the belief he might actually be a competent president. Now that he has proven himself incompetent, it means little because that grounds was not a major factor in his election.

Additionally, many of those who thought Obama's coronation would elevate them out of the basement of loserdom now realize they are still losers, yet they continue to support Obama figuring he will punish the winners while Romney will not. In other words, they now realize they will be stuck in their current state no matter who is in office but they don't want the winners to have someone who supports the successful in office

The answer is simple, it's one of the few arenas where someone who doesn't actually do anything, but just talks about it, can be successful.

Because college professors get tenure, they cannot be fired, they have no experience in the real world, they live in as fantasy world.

I have a Harvard MBA so I saw it in person.

I do agree with you that we need a little of both, but its really naive to claim that liberals are inherently more intelligent than conservatives.

Obama ate McCain for dinner in the last debates. Even McCain said he was not match for the srticulate Obama. I think Romney will do better than McCain but not good enough. Lets face it the President is likable and unless that fact changes he will have the advantage.
