REPORT: Obama Spends More Time on Golf Than Economy

Throughout the first 1,257 days of his presidency, Mr. Obama has spent just 412 hours in economic meetings or briefings of any kind

In 2012, so far Obama has spent just 24 total hours in economic meetings of any kind

Assuming a six day, 10-hour workweek, Obama has spent less than 4 percent of his total time in economic meetings or briefings of any kind
There were 773 days (72 percent), excluding Sundays, in which he had no economic meetings

Mr. Obama has spent an average of 138 minutes a week in economic meetings. According to a study published in the International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity, new dog owners spent an average of 130 minutes a week walking their dogs

He's also skipping meetings with his intelligence advisors

Just FYI, Eisenhower caught hell for the same thing. Yet, he wasn't such a bad President.

Obusha has his areas of focus. The economy and the military and law enforcement are not his interests. I don't know if that's good or bad.

Bush was excoriated for golfing. Minute by minute breakdowns on what the presidents spends his time being presented as "proof" the president is neglecting his duties is silly.

I used to actually get pissed when people would go on about Bush's vacations. When you are president it is 24/7/365. You get no days off. If you want to get away and try and make the best of it for awhile, I got no complaints. I sure as hell would not want to try and keep the schedule they have to for 4 or 8 solid years.

However you posting this in the middle of the day is proof that you are not doing your work.

Where do you live where 05:53 PM Central Daylight Time is "the middle of the day"?

Don't try to weasel out of this. We all know you work 2nd shift.

Not quite sure you've decided to pick on me, but you can **** right off. Talk about the OP.

Honestly, I don't care if the guy pisses his time in front of freakin' "Jersey Shore" all night...it would look better if he weren't such a clusterfork of a president. It just looks bad. It makes him look incomparably arrogant and smug.

You do realize one of our laziest presidents is Reagan right? He's just good at delegating and is the best Republican president in the last maybe 100 years.

I also hear golfing gives you a lot of gray hairs.

lol. i remember when the other side was bitching about Bush going to Crawford in August, even though the "vacation" was probably anything but. one thing's for sure, though : dedicated partisans spend more time on hackery than they do playing golf. i think our nation might be worse off because of it.
