Breaking: Gallup Reports Major DNC 'Bounce' for Obama

ACA does nothing to address real costs in healthcare. It only directly affects prices paid out by patients. It doesn't matter what happens as a result of the law for patients, the costs are still there and still left unpaid. The base problem still exists. You don't need doom and gloom scenarios to realize that to be the case.

So you are listening to all the doom and gloom predictions.

Well you have to wonder about the Rasmussen poll that included 9/6, how many could they have polled after Obama's speech at 10pm?

Fear not. Rasmussen will find a way to show Romney in the lead. Creative polling takes time.

How about that stimulus that he passed, and health care reform. Two biggest items, kept.

Both not resembling what he promised. And before you play the blame obstructionist opposition card, he bargained away single payer very early on behind closed doors with the insurance companies (also a betrayal of the transparency promise).

No, I've read (most of) the bill. It doesn't create any policies to directly control the real costs of providing care. In fact, the taxes on medical equipment providers will likely increase costs in that respect.

Funny, CBO rated several million jobs gained, over 1 % additional GDP growth, and states got more time to get their **** together, while people got more money in lower taxes. 4 of the 5 goals of stimulus met.

ACA is not even fully implemented yet, so kinda hard to rate it. If you are just listening to all the doom and gloom scenarios, you may not be aware of this though.

No the CBO stated between 300k-3 million were created...there was no firm number of jobs that were created and at any rate the stimulus was sold as being able to keep unemployment under 8%....Clearly that didn't happen...Even Obama said so-

but hey,at least they get a good laugh out of failure! hahahahahaha

Obama did not run on single payer. The stimulus was different, but structurally about what he ran on. His transparency promise is not what you think it is(though he did not keep that promise).

Do you know why big companies pay less for health insurance than small companies on a per policy basis? It is an important concept.

Sorry, but those are bugs, not features.

But it doesn't have anything to do with my point.

I'd wager today's jobs report will empty the wind out of the sails with this bounce. Only 5 months out of the last 12 have showed growth to keep up with population growth (>150k).

Ohio is a very key swing state.

How can Obama win Ohio after he wrecked their economy?

actually we are living them....Im not willing to sacrifice another 4 years of destruction and fascism..

Breaking: Gallup Reports Major DNC 'Bounce' for Obama | The Nation

Gallup, as usual, posted its latest poll findings at 1 pm--and found a big bounce for Obama from this year's convention, adding to yesterday's indication. They show a very strong one-day 3% hike in his approval rating to 52%--his highest mark in many months. This means that he gained a whopping 7% in just the past three days.

Also, for the first time in more than a week, the numbers on his contest with Romney moved.

It had been a 47% to 46% lead for him (with no change at all from a week ago during and after the RNC)--but now he has opened lead to 3%, at 48%-45%. And that's in a 7-day poll average with only the first couple days of the DNC factored in, so it should go up a bit more over the next few days. (Note: Gallup site erratic, probably due to heavy traffic right now.)

Here's an item on the results the past two days. By the way, Gallup has often lagged behind other polls showing leads for Romney, so a Democratic bias seems very doubtful.

Its a bounce .... by definition it will not last ...

You can haz!

Oh, and Exodus 20:16 and Matthew 7:1. You can haz those too.

I checked the sample

It was "adults"

Could be anyone and the samples were taken before Obama's Speech and the horrible Jobs Report yesterday. Other polls have Romney up by 2 still. This is just Gallop getting Axlerod and the Justice Department off their back after the Obama shakedown

This alters my point, how?

Again, Exodus 20:16.

Gallup's integrity can no longer be trusted after Axelrod sicced the Justic Department on it. Its the employment data that they report that really frightens the administation more so than the political polls. They are being intimidated in an attempt to coerce them into changing their methodology so their results will make the administration look good.
