Obama's war on children

Bronson, are you afraid to read the actual words of Senator Obama as recorded in the official transcript? Or is there some other reason you continue to post flat out lies about the President's views on abortion?

I've read his actual words many times on a variety of issues. Enough to know Obama is no stranger to the lie and no stranger to saying what he believes he needs to say at the time for political expediency. More importantly I looked at Obama's actions which is a much better indication of what he actually believes. You can't defend the fact he fought for infanticide 4 times. He absolutely did. There is no way it can possibly be spun.

That's your problem. You're more concerned about what Obama has said than what he has done. Even now with a lousy economy, rising poverty, crushing debt, ect you rely on words and promises from a failed president. Not action.

No one is supporting abortion after the first trimester.

Really? The wording in the 2012 democratic party platform makes you wonder. As does the removal of the phrase "safe, legal and rare" which was removed.

The Democratic Party strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman's right to make decisions regarding her pregnancy, including a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay. We oppose any and all efforts to weaken or undermine that right. Abortion is an intensely personal decision between a woman, her family, her doctor, and her clergy; there is no place for politicians or government to get in the way.

Roe v. Wade allows abortion on demand only in the first trimester, after that the states define the abortion laws.

I'll just repeat my earlier words as it is rather evident that some of the anti-abortion types refuse to accept reality, preferring their own world view - not much to be done about it I suppose. I wonder when one of them will attempt to bring charges against the President for supporting murder of innocent beings.

What I've already posted in this thread - just another example of quote mining by ideologues who never let reality get in the way of their preaching

What's your point?

Obama voted present, which is the same as a no vote. He stated that a child born alive from a botched abortion shouldn't be treated as a person. That is despicable.

MY point is that those of you who think Obama has been in favour of infanticide, continue to quote words of his that do not say what you believe they say. They are artifacts of quote mining.

Why are you guys so reluctant to read the actual transcript?

Senator Obama did not vote 'Present' simply to favour allowing viable infants to die if that was the mother's desire. I understand that it truly does not matter for many people where this battle is concerned, your side is all for banning abortions all together and every little snippet uttered by your opponents will be twisted and skewed into saying whatever you wish to hear. Hopefully, you will remain a minority in this nation.

Now that Mitt has come and out said he'll be keeping parts of Obamacare, (virtually conceding the election in early Sept.) this is all they have left.
