Let's break it down for you...

"I believe (ok, an opinion is going to follow...) that IF (ok, an qualifier is coming too) out government is there to support you... (this is the qualifying event "govt support", now comes the opinion (belief) of what will happen if the qualifier comes true...) this plant will be here for another 100 years"

You see, Obama did not "Promise" anything... he stated an opinion of what he thought would happen if the govt provided assistance to GM. Well, unfortunately, that opinion could not be tested as GM was forced to close the plant BEFORE Obama took office and could do anything about it.

It's not the President's job to keep auto plants open. If Obama ignored the closing and didn't care, he did the right thing.

When are these right wingers going to learn that it's not the government's responsibility to provide for their livelihood?

Yes, Ryan quoted Obama. This is a fact. But then all the hacks come in and talk about 'what he suggested was'... no, he said what he said, it was all true. With the plant's closure being very well known prior to the VOTE in 2008 for the presidential election, and yet Obama still won the state... I guess the "promise" wasn't the reason people there voted for him.

Obama has never proposed a "tax cut". He has tried to claim "Tax Credits" are Tax Cuts. It's typical of his dishonesty. You realize the payroll tax extension robbed money out of Social Security right and that Obama hasn't met with his jobs council in more than 6 months. His "budget" which had all these "tax cuts" which were in reality "Tax Credits"/Massive new spending was laughed out of WA

I'm sure Obama told you he cut taxes for the middle class and the poor. He says a lot of things that aren't true. He's done the exact opposite by massively raising their taxes "Obamacare" and enslaving their children to debt. I'm actually surprised you tried to just claim "Obama cut taxes". The "Obama is awesome" arguments and emotional platitudes aren't cutting it this time around.

Tell me how that's possible with Obamacare. This should be hilarious.

And for the record, Obama didn't "save GM or the auto industry". Quite the opposite.

How many lobbyists Obama has and where he advertises his policies is irrelevant. Only actions count. And if Obama lied about creating jobs, good, because it's not the government's job to create jobs.
