Yeah, the two major parties are tearing the country apart. You believe everything they say? Now take a look at realty.

In the vicious vacuum that national party politics has become, the Republicans and Democrats are already dead. They choked to death on the toxic fumes of their own excreta. They are empty, hollow institutions animated only by the parasites that feed on and squirm over the residue of decomposing tissue within the dissolving membranes of their legitimacy. Think of the fabled Koch brothers as botfly larvae and the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association PAC (SIFMA PAC) as a mass of writhing maggots.

These are desperate days in the republic. Between the two empty spectacles of the official party nominating conventions, a terrible nausea rises in the collective gorge of the swindled body politic. The putative contest of ideas is a dumbshow in a hall of mirrors. None of it avails to reduce, mitigate, or even acknowledge, the tensions that may tear this country apart, in particular the web of fraud that shrouds all the operations of money and banking - which is to say: the fate of everything the nation thinks it has invested in itself and its future. In the USA of 2012, anything goes and nothing matters. Reality has a different view of where this all ends and how it will work out.

Come on... IT'S TOO LATE FOR RON PAUL! For God's sake...

Libertarians already picked their candidate in Governor Gary Johnson. They have a system for doing so. It's too late to be a Libertarian prez candidate for him.

Independent? IT'S TOO LATE! Ballot access standards are different in ever state and signature gathering to gain ballot access is OVER in most if not all states already. It's OVER. Do something with your support other than spinning wheels in mud.

If you say you are going to write him in, you had better study your state's laws on write in candidates. Most states you can't just write in anybody and have it counted. You have to gain access to be a counted write in candidate so if you write Mickey Mouse or Ron Paul or whatever and they aren't approved candidates... your vote literally won't count because it will NOT be counted.


You Paulites... I love your fire but for God's sake stop letting your fire blind you to reality.

Replied in other thread, but let's bring this back on topic:p No use in talking about the same thing in two threads, the petition just happened to sort of fit in with this thread title.

But yest both parties are essentially the same. How can we tell? They're funded by the same big banks. And banks don't invest in something unless they expect a return.

I see your point but even if the two parties are essentially the same , I just can't stand to watch Romney buy the White House. I may not have the kind of money he has but I have one vote.
