Too funny. In Rubio's introduction to Mitt Romney he actually said, "we choose more government & less freedom." Finally, an honest Republican. :lamo

So, if Obama was like Romney we will start seeing ads in about two hours breathlessly proclaiming that Republicans want to take away our freedoms to pay for more governmnet. Thankfully Obama would not stoop to that level.

Overall I thought the kid's speech was ... meh. He hit all the talking points, played up the hispanic thing, tried to make Romney seem like a carbon-based life form.

Which network do you work for?

You are always complaining about Republicans lying. So, why are you making this up? Are you hoping to change a vote on DP? What's the point? Enlighten me please.

HINT: No legit news source has this story unless you consider thedailypaul a news source.

Is that taken out of context? I think it is.

WTF are you talking about? Rubio said it. He obviously misread the teleprompter.

Sure, whatever. You said it, you believe it, that's the way it is.

Good grief©

OMG, he said it. I guarantee you it will be on Youtube tomorrow. It's already been mentioned in the convention thread.

Then this must be the happiest day of your life.

No, it's just by way of pointing out how stupid it is to fixate on these sorts of miscues. Unfortunately that seems to be the whole Romney campaign strategy.

Anyway, go to the 17:31 mark. Apology accepted.

The Romney campaign didn't start a thread about a miscue, you did.

The Romney campaign chose an out of context quote as the THEME for an entire day of its convention, and has also used it in countless campaign speeches and commercials.

:3oops: Apology given.

Yep he did kinda screw that one up. But I as well as anyone knows that he did not intend to say Romney was for "big government".. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

There sure has been a lot of foot in mouth disease during this campaign. Makes you wonder just how dumb your future leaders are.

I guess I'm not getting my point across. My point is that he OBVIOUSLY screwed up his reading, and it would be stupid and dishonest of the Obama campaign to try to make an issue of it ... the way that Romney and the Republicans have made an issue out of Obama's "you didn't build that" bobble. My point is that Obama is above that sort of thing, but unfortunately Romney is not.

Let's see what screw ups happen at the Democratic convention ;)

Like clockwork the cultists who rely on the tactics of humiliation like they are in High School failed to read the text of the speech and understand his true intent

Stop acting like 5 year olds. 2 misplaced words aren't going to get this economy growing jobs again. A new president is.

Rubio kicks ass, anybody see his exchange with what's his nuts from the Daily Show a few weeks ago?
