USA TODAY POLL: 90 Million Americans Won't Vote This Year ???

As so often posted here in DP the polls are favoring Romney so many figure the election is pretty much settled so why bother voting.

Reading this thread, it sure seems to me all that hype of "Hope and Change" is over. Buyers remorse.

Looks like Ron Paul was co-opted and stymied by the Lamestream media and by the Establishment GOP money machine.

Do you feel betrayed as well?

Well..ya know...when you're a taxpayer parasite, it's awfully inconvenient to brush off those chip crumbs, turn off that Xbox, and get off that couch on Election Day.

The workers will already be out. Don't count out those Obama lovers on thinking it's a cakewalk, so why leave the house?

The above post is a perfect example is why nobody in politics pays any serious attention to libertarians.

Wow, who'd have guessed that a massive Republican voter suppression effort would result in lower participation?

Polls can be wrong.

For instance, the 70% approval rating the media gave Bush just after 9/11. Theres no way on Gods green earth Bush ever got that blanket cover not having been elected legally.

No. I think many polls are fabricated out of thin air, to push whatever agenda the Feds want to cram down our throats.

I feel their pain, but I am still going to vote............ For Gary Johnson.

Vote your conscience I always say.:peace

What do you think of Rocky Anderson?

That's sad to hear I was hoping it would be more like 200 million not voting because I do believe not voting is a vote. Specifically, it's a vote of no confidence while voting for a donkey or an elephant is a vote for eroding civil liberties, wars, banker bailouts, get out of jail free cards for bankers, things like TPP, earned income taxed at a higher rate than capital gains and chronic intervention in other countries affairs. Considering that's what the donkeys and elephants are offering I can't get worked up over a 3% difference in the earned income tax rate. They are not identical but to vote for either a donkey or elephant is to endorse the aforementioned policies which I can't do.

I agree.

Throwing your ballot in the trash is a vote too.

If Obama had not incinerated the people of Libya and Syria, I would say give him the benefit of the doubt, even though the civillian death toll and escalation of Afghanistan/Pakistan is criminal.

By not raising taxes on the wealthy, however, and allowing 500,000 school employees get the axe, when a one year 1% increase on the rich could have erased all state deficits nationwide, proves he is corrupt.
