Hollywood Bailing on President Obama and the Democratic National Convention

Oh great, unjustifiably wealthy attention whores are keeping their mouths shut about politics.

This is a win-win.

In 2008 it was fashionable to support the president. Always trust an actor to find his light, even if the light is being reflected off of someone else.

Now his light has dimmed; he's just another Democratic candidate for president, and the celebrities, as the OP article indicates, have other things to do that weekend. I doubt this is an indictment of his term so far so much as there being nothing to gain by going to the convention.

the hollyloonies only want to support a winner and they are seeing the handwriting on the wall this time.

But why does anyone really care what a bunch of self centered, over paid, mentally challenged idiots think? Really, why do any of their opinions matter?
