Romney's no pure angel in this either, but you're seriously playing dumb to slimy or lying attacks being done from the left as well?
Romney bullies gays because of something from 50 years ago?
Romney did bully a fellow student, which he has apologised for though he won't admit it, other students who were there claimed he bullied the boy because he was seen as gay.
Romney's cruel to animals with the dog on the roof thing?
Romney did put his dog on the car. Some people think it's cruelty, others think it's nothing. It doesn't change the fact.
Romney's essentially Dr. Manhattan, causing cancer and making women die?
Again, the ad presents the facts. People can interpret how they will. The guy was fired by a firm bought by Bain, his wife did die of cancer. No where was it claimed that Romney cause cancer or make anyone die. That is a silly and extreme interpretation spinned by the Republicans as a counter-attack. I read the ad as citing an example of how Republican policies on healthcare (which Romney choose to endorse by distancing himself from Romneycare) and the pursuit of capitalist profit at any cost can affect people, but that guy was far from a good example, there are plenty of others who are real victims of the kind of policies pursued by the Republicans, and Romney probably have no notion or concerns for them.
Could Romney be a felon? I'm just asking the question!
Romney didn't pay taxes for ten years because some guy who I won't reveal told me and if you want me to prove it well....Romney should release his tax returns!
Do you have evidence that Reid was lying about having a source? If not, to claim that Reid was lying would make your post the same kind of lie as you claim his comment is. I agree it's a slimy attack on the Democrat's part, and a brilliant one too, but Romney could make a fool of them all by simply releasing his tax returns as Obama released his birth certificates.
Mitt Romney specifically calls out to Racists.
The Romney campaign has made many "slips" that could be construed as racist, if they don't want to be accused of such, stop using veiled references to Obama as being foreign, non-American, or talk about "anglo-saxon heritage", those kind of talks are geared towards a specific group of electorates. They give the smoke, the democrats claim fire.
Romney likes firing people.
That attack was mostly the work of his own Republican challengers during the primaries. But honestly do you believe that Romney would hesitate to fire people to cut costs at a company he bought? Do you believe that Romney have a problem with outsourcing? Romney gloried in the success those business strategy brought him.
Ad's using a Ann Romney's Dressage horse to mock Romney.
Again it's the truth that the costs associated with that was claimed as a loss. More than that, there' s nothing wrong with pointing out the extravagance of their lifestyle compared to the average Americans, especially when one of the main arguement advanced by the Democrats against Romney is that he is informed by his experience as a rich financier with little understanding of how the average American live and work. His wife could afford to spend more money on horses a year than most people have to feed their family, and his favored tax policy is to cut the taxes he and people like him have to pay, paid for by cutting programmes which he deemed unimportant, though he has yet to say what those are.
You call it "mocking", well then he deserves to be "mocked" by the truth, there's nothing dishonest or slimy about that.
Hillary Rosen's comments about Ann Romney and stay at home moms.
Her comments was taken out of context in as much as Romney's comment about liking to fire people was. It was the Republicans who pushed the claim that Rosen was attacking Ann Romney as a stay at home Mum, there's no good for Democrats in doing that, and they quickly repudiated it. Ann Romney does not understand how the average American family deals with money problems, she spends more than they earn on her horses in a year.
Biden's recent allusion to "putting ya'll in chains".
This might pass for low class slimy attack, meat for the base, like the Romney campaign's veiled comments for their bigoted or birther base.
That's just quickly off the top of my head
Seriously....the Romney campaign has hardly been a shining beacon of policy driven, spin-free potlics, but you're really going to sit here and play dumb to the notion that the Democrats or Obama's campaign have done similarly slimy or dishonest things?
If that's all you can think of, the Obama campaign has done better than some of the outright lies told by the Romney campaign, most of that list are just you going to the extreme interpretation, the same talking point from Republicans, in order to attack Obama back.
