Obama: Let's repeat auto industry success - POLITICO.com

PUEBLO, Colo. – President Obama, while villifying Mitt Romney for opposing the auto industry bailout, bragged about the success of his decision to provide government assistance and said he now wants to see every manufacturing industry come roaring back.

“I said, I believe in American workers, I believe in this American industry, and now the American auto industry has come roaring back,” he said. “Now I want to do the same thing with manufacturing jobs, not just in the auto industry, but in every industry. :doh

“I don’t want those jobs taking root in places like China, I want those jobs taking root in places like Pueblo,” Obama told a crowd gathered for a campaign rally at the Palace of Agriculture at the Colorado State Fairgrounds here.
Let's focus on the quotes; who wants to spend more tax dollars to bail out every industry that is failing and bypass the laws of economics? Who believes that business shouldn't be grown naturally by entrepreneurs who take risks, are experts in their field of business and get private capital to start up?

hahaha, you should have just stuck with the Tariff. Now watch everything crumble into oblivion.

Obama already let the Marxist cat out of the bag with the "You didn't build that" statement. The truth doesn't matter to his supporters because they have been brainwashed into a Hope and Change cult. Trying to use logic and reason when dealing with these people is about as pointless as talking to a Westboro Baptist Church loon. One in the same hive mind trapped in delusion.

What a genius Obusha is.

Free lunch for everyone. Poor, rich and of course Corporations which are really "people" in disguise.

Lets face it. He may suck as a President but he''s "Da Man" when it comes to politics. His opponent of sorts, Romney, seems as lost as if he were dropped on Mars.

Neither party has any kind of narrative. They both stand for very little. Democraps - free lunch√ free money√ free houses√ nearly free money for banks√ free foodstamps√. Repugnantcans - tax cuts√ tax breaks√ tax cuts√. Both offering your tax dollars to their constituents. No ideas, no plans, no leadership. Just give 'em a few trillion and.....the same crooks, Geithner and Bersnakey will manage it for them. Just as they have for the last 11.5 years.

Well, I say who needs these idiots? They're useless. We'll be just fine on our own.

BTW, one of the FEW things I think Obusha did right was the auto bailout. This had historical precedent and it seems that it worked and saved some jobs.

Find me an industry that employers hundreds of people, is tettering the brink, and will survive if they get a cash infusion which they will repay.

If such a thing exists, yes, I'd do it again. I didn't favor the bail-out, I didn't expect it to work, and I am 100% sure it is riddled with waste -- but I still concede now, it is a success story.

I just don't happen to think it can be repeated.

Oh wow! "We're from the government and we're here to help." Reagan was definitely right in his opinion of that idea.
