You've got to be joking. It's obvious that he was speaking figuratively about Selma as representative of the civil rights movement.
One would have to be... since his father didn't get one of Kennedy's scholarships... nor did Hawaii have a civil rights struggle, or Harvard, where his dad was while he was supposedly born... He was in NO WAY connected to the Civil Rights movement... but he sure as hell needed to pretend to be for that election... so he did...
It's also obvious that ALL of his details are COMPLETELY off... It's lie after lie after bold faced lie... Especially when you compare the details of that speech to the false details he also promulgates in his supposed "memoirs"...
I would say you just jumped the shark, but you've jumped it so many times it would be redundant. :lamo
mmhmm so you've seen a physical copy of it... right? since one does not exist it isn't possible for you to have... also, we both are too smart to fall for that falsified info on the digital copy of it... which I deal with these types of documents all day... I know what a doctored one looks like...
It was 47th over the course of Romney's four years. It was something like 38th over the course of the previous four years. That's not improvement.
Fraudulent information isn't becoming of you... oh wait, it is, youre an Obama supporter...
The 4 years prior to Romney entering into office included the dotcum bubble... hence why a tech savy place like MA would have created a boatload of tech jobs that disappeared when it burst... Romney took over in MA right as that recession was expiring...
So we were 50th when he took over, we were 26th when he left... That's called improvement... by 6 places per year...
You are hysterical. :2rofll:
and you asked, as an outsider who doesn't know... I gave you the honest answer from someone who lived through it... and enjoyed it emensely...
Uh, yeah, that was at the height of the real estate bubble ... now we're recovering from the bubble's collapse. This is laughable stuff you're offering up.
LMFAO... and it's ridiculous that youre trying to tell me the job I got in 2003 is only the result of the real estate bubble...
Let me ask how you think the highest cost of living in the country in Boston and the 3rd highest property values in the country helped contribute to me getting a high paying job? Whereas now with lowered costs of property, that it's harder to find a decent job?
You do realize how off-base you are tonight, right? Distracted by the Olympics, maybe? Or is it all Obama's false side-stories that have you spinning...
Wow, Obama created the baby boom and the Great Recession that he inherited from Bush and the Republicans! I did not know that!
No... he created the least favorable business conditions ever for people in the US...
Hold on my little friend: when Romney took over MA was below the national average in unemployment. By the time he left MA was above the national average in unemployment. What a great record!
Unemployment in the U.S. - Google Public Data Explorer
Note, too that MA did far better in terms of unemployment under the Democratic administration that preceeded Romney AND during the Democratic administration that followed him -- relative to the rest of the country.
LMFAO... please stop right there... you're embarassing yourself... He was preceeded by Jane Swift (R), who was the Lt. Gov. and acting Governor, after Paul Cellucci (R) resigned from office... You just don't have a clue... time to give it up...
and this is what happened as soon as Mitt Romney left...
Massachusetts unemployment rate rises to 7.4 percent as 4,900 lose jobs in January | masslive.com
Here's the unemployment rate in MA from 2002-2008, which includes his 4 years in office and the 1 year preceding and after his term in office...
Notice the trough in the middle... that's the period where Romney created jobs and lowered the unemployment rate... bordered by unemployment increasing both before and after he left...
Want to compare with Obama's?
No trough there... you'd need ice picks on your boots the cross that pass...
I'd take Romney's...
You mean the people of Massachusettes are so stupid they mistook Romney for Bush? Incredible. Literally. Usually when a state's governor runs for president the state gets behind him. I guess they did with Romney, but they were driving a road grader.
Of course Romney doesn't have a current approval rating as he doesn't have a job ... and hasn't had one for five years ... other than running for president. He does have an unfavorable rating however, that is well ahead of Obamas!
No... but the people of MA, and many other liberal areas hated Bush so much they took it out on any Republican they could find... which is how the Dems won seats in the 2006 federal elections the 2007 gubernatorial elections and the 2008 federal elections...
The home state of a presidential doesn't always support that candidate... especially when the state is notoriously liberal and the candidate conservative... or vice versa... note Al Gore 2000, liberal candidate did not pull in conservative TN...
Also... don't forget... the hatred of the war and the desire to bring the troops home... MA voters thought that's what Obama was gonna do... boy were they wrong...
