By Tuesday, his staff was so frustrated that one spokesperson told reporters with the American press corps to "shove it" after they tried to ask questions about his myriad missteps.

Both candidates have so much foot in mouth disease that I think the winner will be whomever says the least.

Neither one has anything useful to say. Neither one has the slightest idea of leading us out of our malaise. They both need to STFU.

NYT: “Governor Romney do you have a statement for the Palestinians?

Washington Post: “What about your gaffes?

NYT: “Governor Romney do you feel that your gaffes have overshadowed your foreign trip?”

CNN: “Governor Romney just a few questions sir, you haven’t taken but three questions on this trip from the press!

Gorka: “Show some respect”

NYT: “We haven’t had another chance to ask a question…”

Gorka: “Kiss my ass. This is a Holy site for the Polish people. Show some respect.”

Acosta added: Moments later, Gorka told Jonathan Martin, a reporter for Politico, to “shove it.” About a half-hour later, the aide called reporters to apologize.

Maybe its just me but shouldn't Romney be here in the US campaigning? Or is he on vacation? Sorry, I care about |-| that much what Romney is doing, so I must have missed his reasoning for being a jackass overseas.
 
Further emphasizing our critical decision between a fourth Dubya term and a fourth Dubya term.

His refusal to speak to the press is pretty telling, however. Looks like Team Romney was trying to get the tour over with and ignore the media until reporters were distracted by the next 'story.' Unfortunately, Gorka just made it personal. The media will chew Romney up like a fine steak for this, justified or not.

Meanwhile, my generation is hovering at around 13% unemployment and stagnating in its parents' basements. But nothing's more important than what a future failed presidential nominee's spokesman said to some overbearing reporters in Poland, right?

Those weren't reporters. They were Obama Campaign operatives doing the WH bidding. It was a solemn moment at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and they were rudely shouting questions trying to gin up this nontroversy talking point being fed to them from the WH.

Just more hysteria over nothing from the far left

Edit: Romney should promote Gorka. He speaks for millions across the entire country who are fed up with these silly liberals running around pretending to be journalists.

He was visiting a memorial site. If reporters were screaming at Obama to answer their questions while visiting the Wailing Wall or the 9/11 memorial in NYC it'd be just as crass and inappropriate as the barrage of questions during this visit.

These days reporters seem no better than high paid paparazzi. Force, force, push, push, scream, incendiary questions, subtle insults..blah, blah, blah. Professionalism? Screw that, we need to sell ad space on our news site!

Romney should make himself more available to the press.
He should reign in his aids if they're going to make stupid statements.
But let's agree to something: Let's stop blaming the candidate for the idiotic statements their staff make. Don't rail on Obama when Biden screws the pooch, don't rail on Romney when Gorka says something dumb. Associating the gaff with Romney is just ridiculous. He didn't say it, he shouldn't be slaughtered over it.

As to the statement itself? It's pretty stupid to get that riled up over it.

When I saw this on the news I had to look twice to make sure this was not a badly written skit on something like SNL. It is really amazing. It is like somebody says something you don't like in front of your small kids and you go off on them and scream "Look you mother****** go and eat **** if you think your ****** filthy mouth can say that ******* in front of my family and ******* get away with it. "

Its so over the top that it would be a stretch on SNL or Jon Stewart.

Speaking of SNL - Romney is absolutely showing himself to be a No Ready for Prime Time Player.

I hope our next candidate has two names, wont present his birth cert and spends millions to seal his college transcripts...and never worked in the private sector...

yes.. we are showing the difference as many are making the contrast..its inter-related..as far "being prepared' for the job..Im pointing out how Mitt needs to "get with the program" and become prepared... It's because he says stupid things, he's a viable contender for the Presidency on the GOP ticket. The more ignorant he sounds, the better his chances of winning conservative voters' hearts, since it makes him appear to be one of them.
