Both sides are exaggerating in this case; the Obama campaign overstates Romney's involvement post '99 and Romney falsely claims that he had NO involvement.

Both sides are not exaggerating in this case. No in this case the Obama Campaign is blatantly lying and so are his Supporters.

I have actually retired from my company a couple of years ago. Do to having certain experiences/ skills I still get calls from time to time to help on something going on. At times I work it work with folks quickly and there are times it involves much more and we have worked out a rate they pay me. This is not unique and know folks that have contracts with the company for X hours a year of time.

Now if someone asked me if I worked for my old company anymore I would say I was retired. This is true. My sense is that Romney feels that he also left Bain, the 100K retainer is something a lot of execs get so people can still feel they are not imposing when they want to "pick his brain".

Perhaps because Obama never worked in any industry he honestly does not understand this practice. Same with his team. More likely someone by now has told him this is horse***, and he says who cares most people will never understand the truth so why bother giving to them.

You know I am sure it could be this simple however this is NOT what Romney has said,..he is giving us the ,"trust me" line ...most people are confused and it seems sketchy and inconsistent the way Romney has responded and handled all of this.

Sorry, I know you can't admit it, but Romney is lying too. He can't himself.
