DRUDGE says she tops the list.............what do you think?

I have been saying it for a long time. Independents love her... R&R '12

She has said repeatedly that she's not interested and also that her dream job is NFL Commissioner.

I suggested this on another forum a helluva long time ago. Best choice imo. Woman, African American, appeals to independents, has White House exp, probably wouldnt make too bad a president.

No way. She would dwarf Romney.

I think she's a terrible choice (maybe not that bad), and she knows it. Anyone here old enough to remember the Peter Principle? I believe she's wisely and well aware of that. Plus I think she absolutely hated the 24/7/365 proctological limelight thing.

Might well be worth considering.

exactly,it would be like 08 with mcain and palin, but this time the pres candidate would be a flop and condy would be the super intellectual of the two.

Clownboy! On what basis do you compare her to the Peter Principle? OMFG. And so it starts . . .

I didn't compare her to it, I said she was well aware of it and wisely knows where her own line is. She's never expressed a desire to be POTUS, and she's avoided any move that we've seen to bring her into elected office in the Executive. She's an extremely intelligent, well-spoken and good humored person. I like her just fine. But at the same time I don't believe she has the proclivities, the desire for the office

Dr. Rice would be a terrific choice, IMO. But although she's more than able to take the heat and stay in the kitchen, I don't think she wants to. Maybe she's just been playing coy all this time, but I don't think so.

I'm not sure that Condi Rice wants to be under the microscope like Sarah Palin was.

The only problem with Condi Rice is that she would ultimately look more qualified to be President than either Romney or Obama, mostly because she is.

That would be a disaster for everybody.

I believe Ms. Rice is a most excellent example of fine gentile southern upbringing. She was classically trained to be a soviet expert just as the market for such people tanked. She never really found her footing with Islamofascists or whatever the Ranters call the rather nebulous nationalist, regionalist network.

She was in no way prepared for the bruised knuckle infighting and hyperpartisanship of the newly emboldened GOP. She couldn't hold her own in the meetings within the inner circle. I believe she isn't eager to get back into politics as she is maintaining a very low profile in the current election cycle. Imagine that, the former sec of state during the wars in the Middle East silent while Pawlenty and ahhhh what's his name are taking their two man circus routine on the road.

She is much better suited to the Presidency of a major University than VP under Willard. I think highly of Ms. Rice, I don't think she needs to get into bruised knuckle politics, I do think she is smarter than that. I would rather spend an evening talking with her than any of the other national 'leaders' but I would never vote for her.

The best thing about that is she would never be so ego driven to stand for a national election.

That alone makes her someone to admire... :peace

Romney's academic record is one of the three or four best in the last 50 years. Condi's got a great record academically but its not superior to Romneys

If she would accept(which based on what I have heard seems unlikely, but you never know), she would probably be an excellent choice. She gives Romney foreign policy experience and is some one who is pretty well respected even among liberals. She would not be a perfect fit(and some idiots will try and make a big deal about the rumor she is gay), but possibly the best choice.

Shes probably not gay. And if people think she is, great! Maybe the Homosexuals will vote for her!

A gay female GOP VP would be one of the best things to happy for Civil Rights since the I have a Dream Speech.
