I am beginning to see a possibility that Romney will not be the GOP Presidential Candidate, primarily because they cannot be that desperate. Between the new Bain fiasco, flip flopping to the point of absolute confusion, and his inability to gain any measurable traction with anyone not white and over 50...It is quite possible the GOP will ditch him.

Who do you think would replace him?

Why cannot Romney simply do another massive flip-flop in a new character comeback and replace himself?

He already has the delegates, thats all he needs. And even if the GOP could just throw out the entire primary process they wouldn't dare because it would a disaster for their members who organized, voted, debated, had a real passion about it and now being told none of it mattered. For their donors who would see all their money was for nothing wouldnt want to donate again as willingly. For their message, it would be impossible to talk about democracy again after that. And so on.

We'd be better served with a rock than Romney.

Only in your wet dreams would Romney be replaced, or need to be replaced.

At the end of the day, whoever runs against Obama is going to kick Obama's ass in the polls. Might was well start getting ready to say good bye to Mr. Obama, because this will be his only term as president.

Hhhmmm....white and over 50 constitutes quite a base. Seventy-three percent of the US is white, over 63% is non Hispanic white and a baby boomer turns 50 every 6 seconds. Solidify that base and you really don't have to draw very big from minorities although I applaud Romney for campaigning for the votes of all Americans as opposed to Obama who long ago decided to disregard large chunks of the electorate and pander to certain constituencies. And the Bain fiasco is proving to be just that....for Obama.

President Obama may in fact win a second term, but it's looking more likely by the day that it will be strictly an electoral college win. The desparate attacks you see right now by the dems is reflective of the fact that they see this as well.

Come October we'll see the real desparation as the dems realize they're probably going to lose the senate under the weight of disgust for this POTUS.

Oh hey, another reason why he'll be just like Bush.

Liberal fantasies are really quite funny.

A better question is who will replace Obama Jan 2013. The state of the economy alone will torpedo Obama's chances at a second term. Read my sig line.

I've heard things like that before too.

Ask a serious question in a debate forum for politics...and get the same silly partisan crap.

Perhaps that's because your 'serious question' was full of partisan crap?

I think the same way about Romney.
And I'm no fan of Obama.

All electoral maps right now show Obama as being in the lead, but he's by no means secured the election. It's still anyone's game and anyone who says otherwise is too partisan to see whats going on.

I fail to see how this is "Partisan Crap"...there is a new Bain Fiasco for Romney, as he claimed to no longer be a part of it, yet SCC documentation states otherwise. The Fipping issue is so well documented as to be irrefutable, and his non white draw is very well established.

These are simply fact, truth, and reality...denying it does not make it go away.

I asked a very simple question...and it had NOTHING to do with Obama. Yet rather than answer it people decide to dodge and weave in favor of attack on the current president. Thus, Partisan Crap.

I'm gonna go with Rubio...Cristy is too damn fat and ill tempered, Palenty is like a Romney light....without the $$$$.

No one else stands a chance. (IMHO)

No, it's partisan crap because you have been fed (and obvious ate) misleading information about Bain (or don't understand what they really did), you call him a flip flopper while ignoring the reality that Obama has done the same crap, and say he isn't gaining while omitting the losses Obama is experiencing. Thus, in most ways, he is no different than most other politicians, including Obama, yet you suggest it is Romney alone that somehow will be tossed out mid campaign? Hackery, pure and simple.

Partisan crap people have been spoon fed is believing there's a difference between Obama and Romney.

Okay....thread dead...Thanx.

The die hard party-tards and idiots already selected Romney. They are not going to change their mind.

not much of a bold prediction here, but i would guess that the chances that Romney is replaced at the convention approach zero.
