So...who will replace Romney as the GOP Candidate?

Obama's got an energy policy alright, and I feel pain because of it when I fill up my gas tank.

Come on Dude, President Obama has lowered the price of gas 15% in just a few months! ;)

Gas was $1.83 a gallon when Obama took office.

Yep, but I think that destroying the economy to lower gas prices probably isn't on most folks' wish list.

A) I can't believe you didn't blame President Bush.
B) His administration (President Obama) is on record with wanting gas prices to go up.

I am beginning to see a possibility that Romney will not be the GOP Presidential Candidate, primarily because they cannot be that desperate. Between the new Bain fiasco, flip flopping to the point of absolute confusion, and his inability to gain any measurable traction with anyone not white and over 50...It is quite possible the GOP will ditch him.

Who do you think would replace him?
The Bain Fiasco? :lamo

are you a plant?

There is absolutely no problem with Romney, his experience at Bain, his time fixing the olympics, and his term as governor... None...

The Dumbocrats are spending billions trying to dig up dirt on Romney, and the best they've got so far is, he was mean to someone in school as a teenager, he insulted some store bought cookies from a local bakery in podunk pa, that he's rich and has money in offshore accounts, and Bain took time to remove his name from their company list as CEO eventhough he was in Salt Lake City organizing the olympics... That's it?!? What's the November surprise going to be, he cut the tags off his mattress 1 day before the check cleared?

In the meantime, the guy in the White House has a questionable birth certificate/citizenship status, is known to have been a misguided eff up that was heavy into drugs, has numerous corrupt ties to Chicago Machine personalities including the illegal purchase of his home next to Tony Rezko, and has been proven to lie or switch positions on numerous occasions... and that doesn't even begin to discuss his failings as the actual president...

Romney is just fine, and when he announces his nominee, no one will be talking about this bogus crap... We can then focus again on contrasting a record of success and a plan to get us on the path to recovery vs the guy who has left us in a quagmire of stagnation and complacency while blaming everyone else for his own faults...

Adam, for once we agree! Getting a decent job would hold that place. Unfortunately, with Obama in charge we have more people joining the disability roles than actually getting a job created under the Obama administration.

Please don't forget the two dead American Law Enforcement Agents who died due to Fast& Furious.

Since you are never going to vote republican in the first place, Ive got to ask why those of us that are should give a flying **** what you think?

Firstly...that you feel you know me well enough to claim I will never vote Republican makes it clear you know very little of me.

Secondly...As this is a debate forum discussion and debate concerning politics might just be appropriate.

Thirdly...Though I understand the defensive posture, I do not see vitriol as a needed component to the discussion.

If Romney is worthy of my vote...he will get it. My decision is going to be based on many factors, but primarily who I feel can lead us through the next decade without causing the Republic to fail.

As of right now though, you are correct in that I will not be voting Republican this time, unless they nominate someone who articulates what he stands for, and what he has to offer.
