I can honestly say, it's sad to see a man who is willing to flush his integrity down the toilet like this.

What does all this mean politically? Obama clearly believes that class warfare is a winner. But when Mitch McConnell asked the Senate to vote on Obama's tax hike plan this week, he was rebuffed by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid mere days after the president claimed that his plan is a vital piece of the recovery.

In fact, if the House or Senate Republicans pushed forward a vote to extend all Bush-era tax cuts, it would likely put Democrats in an even tougher position. They would have to choose between extending a decade-old lower tax rate that everyone is accustomed to in defiance of the president and holding out to institute an effective rate hike in a terrible economy.

And do you remember when the Bush tax cuts only benefited the rich? This point was repeated ad infinitum for years by nearly every Democrat in nearly every interview. I can't remember a single Democratic candidate arguing that "the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans" are in any way beneficial for the middle class. Yet today the president is running around claiming he's generously extending something that for years we were told didn't really exist.

He said he is PERSONALLY in favor of gays having the right to marry, but he said it should be up to the States. Do you not think it should be up to the states?

Obama isn't even through one term and he has deported more illegal immigrants than Bush did during his entire two terms. What are you talking about?

Obama is ON RECORD as saying he believed marriage is between a MAN AND A WOMAN. As for leaving it to the states, how the heck can you say something is a civil rights issue, and it should be left to the states in the same sentence??? He's an idiot.

I want to ask your opinion - was he targeted and was the first black President over-scrutinized at every turn?

And in contrast, was Dubya annointed and legitimized by media for his status as "connected" to power, to Cheney and the Bush family by the press because he was the affluent, "fortunate" son?

The tax approach from Obama is exactly like everything he does. His whole approach to life is that there are good guys who support him and bad guys who do not. By separating the tax issue into this who get the cuts and this who get the shaft, he does this again.

There is no surprise here. He is the most divisive president in the history of the republic. He has no concept of the nation. He sees everything as a struggle between opposites and uses this struggle to divide and corrupt.

Actually, if a guy is old and never changed a position, you'd need to wonder about his sanity or at least his awareness.

That obama has stated that he has held different positions on Gay marriage does not reveal a change in position, just a change in the story he is telling. The guy is an inveterate liar who is the product of Chicago machine politics.

That should tell you everything you need to know about his integrity.

If this man was white and was motivated as strongly as he is by loyalty to his skin color, he's be the Grand Dragon of the KKK.
