Romney will end the job loss? Set the economy back on track? Seriously?

50 million were not paying under the status quo, and health care costs were still tripling every few years. How many Americans do you think should go without health care to starve the private market beast?

Exactly as many as cannot afford the care they want/need.

I prefer an upgrade to UHC so we can both improve health care for all citizens and cut our costs in half as the rest of the industrialized world has done.

Please show the causation, if possible, keeping in mind it is not the same as correlation. For UHC to halve our health care costs, it has to allow half the services to be provided compared to previously, or cap some other aspect of health care provision that is currently driving our per capita costs.

Your solution is that only the rich receive health care? You should vote for the GOP then.

Nope, I have already provided documentation that other industrialized nations pay half as much for health care and receive better health care for more of their people than we did with our health care system. Under a single payer system, health providers are forced to accept lower profits.

Lets give Palin a try.

Perhaps her motherly nurturing instincts will prevent or prevail over the Pentagon tendency to torch Arab families in countries situated near oil fields.

Arab Countries bombed by Sarah Palin = 0

Arab Countries bombed by Barack Obama = At least 2 (Afghanistan and Libya)

That was sarcasm you realize.:bs

But anything is possible with Jeezus.

We who currently pay for it (taxpayers).

You don't seem to get that it's the same way in the private and public health care markets. If you so much as suggest that we should limit extraordinary end of life measures in the public plans you will instantly be drowned out with shrill cries of "DEATH PANEL!" from Republicans ... who will then pick right up whining that health care costs are out of control.
