Poll: Don’t Extend Bush Cuts for Wealthy

And I'm still waiting for someone to tell me why I don't have the right to pursue the American Dream of working hard and sacrificing to build a better future for my children.

That right was not infringed upon for the half century that tax rates for the wealthy were much higher than anything proposed today, so what you have there is a big ole fat moot point.

Then I exceeded your expectations.

Yes, the SCOTUS found that discrimination is a violation under the 14th amendment.

oh a court created right versus one that is patently obvious in the constitution. but that really is a bogus claim

you see your "right" presumes I already intend to RENT housing or sell housing and I cannot discriminate.

On the other hand, if you have no housing, I have no duty to give you it free

I mean, I know that the let's-spend-ourselves-into-oblivion crowd was fine with screwing over future generations... I just never figured they would turn it into some kind of moral cause.

The "spend ourselves into oblivion" tactic is just another name for the "starve the beast" tactic that GW Bush used following Reagans lead. I'm glad to see that you have seen through that ruse and now vote Democrat.

your chart is innaccurate, seems that it tok some of obamas debt and said well bush started it so its his debt im gonna put it on his.

second the budget accounts for increases over the previous administration,so he is spending every dollar bush did and then some.

heres a chart from cbo

I like how conservatives try to argue that the Bush tax cuts aren't contributing to the deficits. They cry about "blaming Bush," but do they really think Bush's policies magically evaporated in November 2009 or are they just being dishonest?

Meaningless, interchangeable non-argument.
