Romney and Obama seem to be close in votes with Obama having the edge.
-
First choice is Obama that has screwed the retires with no raises till his third year.
We all know that that was just a bone thrown to them for his reelection.
-
Second choice is Romney who vowed to take away many of the poors benifits which is not what this country is made of.
We all know that Romney is all out for the rich and only for the rich.
-
My take? Neither of them deserve to be President.
As far as congress goes we need a clean sweep.
-
Its tough for me to make a decision because I have to look at both partys and make my desison while most others just pull the same lever over and over again..
I don't like lever pullers because most of them don't have a clue to whats going on its just a party thing.

Welcome Ironman! Seems a very well reasoned first post. I would say you are off to a good start!

I agree, I think its best all of us make a choice based on who each of us individually thinks is the candidate that best represents all of us.

Thanks Catawba. I hope to fit in with the crowd.

Don't worry about fitting in with the crowd, just be yourself, which seems to me to be a very reasonable person.

My concern is how unlimited anonymous money from corporations will effect this election. This is a whole new ballgame and could give new meaning to the warning by Eisenhower of control by the military/industrial complex.

Welcome, an yes, it is a crappy lot to choose from. Are you in a swing state? If not, then why not vote third party? At least then you won't be contributing to Obama's or Romney's popular vote. If you are in a swing state then I can understand why it might seem like a risky thing to do.
