Romney campaign: Obama lacks executive experience

Here's what we now about the things that hampered Obama's progress: There was this horrific financial crash that effected most of the world; maybe you've heard about it, and the Republicans have done nothing but obstruct his abilities from the day of his ignaguration: "we're going to make Obama a one term president" . . . That's what Mitch Mcconnell was saying right?

Now as to Obama's successes: he got Osama Ben Laden, not GW Bush (mr. "bring it on"); don't forget, Ben Laden was an enemy of this country, it was Bush's job to hunt that SOB down. He didn't so it. So, saying that "it was going to hapoen eventually" is just a cop out. Obama said he was goingt to fight anad that's exactly what he did.

The big three auto companies are lucky they're still in business. There has been plenty written about their arrogance and refusal to follow market trends that drove those comapnies into the toilet: you must remember the scandal about those people arriving in jets and limos to ask the government for money. Now campanies that did not need bailouts; banks included, listened to market trends and payed atention to what they were doing.

The health care debacle opened the door to further improvements: the genie's out of the bottle and that hasn't happened since Harry Truman introduced the idea. As for the supreme court, we'll have to wait and see: I'm not crazy about it and I'm very disapointed, but as I say; the door is open now.

Again; the debt has everything to do with the crash. FDR did the same thing when he took office. The idea is generate economic activity: when poeple get into trouble they leverage their homes and do all kinds of things to stay afloat, so I'm not buying all the nonsense about deficit spending when it ignores so mush that is so obvious. You must remember that it was Republican leadership that put us into this hole in the first place, so trying to blame president Obama for its effects really just defys all reason.

As for scandals; yeah, I forgot that every single president prior to Obama had perfect adminstrations . . . What scandals? Are you forgetting that we live in a society that wtches Jerry Springer and Snooky?

Please: I'm buyin' that one either.

Sorry, but I just can't see how your argument overrides the facts of Obama's current adminstration.
Really? A person in the minority party would want the other party's candidate out of office? Never... (Maybe you're too young to know the past referrences, but most Republicans right now are attempting to mirror the calls to have Reagan beat Carter and make him a "one term president")

What scandals? Are you serious? Do you live under a Rock? Check Obama's AG Eric Holder's Fast and Furious, check the GSA conference, and then the Secret Service prostitution scandal in Colombia... Add the Solyndra debacle, that wasn't just the company filing for bankruptcy, there was the FBI raid and examination of company records to show they were given preferential treatment by the administration, and had their board meetings at the White House, and that a large campaign donor to Obama was able to somehow withdraw his private investment in Solyndra days before Solyndra filed for bankruptcy, with $535M in taxpayer money that was left on the hook...

I still don't know about this "ben Laden" guy... but Clinton was the one who started the hunt for Bin Laden... your knowledge of the situation (as most topics) seems very limited... He has been FBI #1 since 98, and the intelligence gathered to kill Osama Bin Laden was taken from a prisoner who was tortured at Guantano Bay... which if Obama had his way, would not exist... So to try and discredit Bush's policies in this regard is really a weak position to be standing in...

Regarding healthcare... It hasn't been done since Truman? Really? Romney got it done in MA, without increasing taxpayer money... wheras the Obama plan is already on the books for an estimated $100B, before healthcare costs skyrocket as a result of the price controls they put in...

The "big three" companies are not "luckily" still in business... Chrysler was bought out by Fiat... who had already gone through restructuring of their own beginning in the early 2000s for their own financial problems, emerging from them between 2004-2006... Ford survived without government assistance... And GM had to close down half of their brands to survive (which... if they went to liquidation, my guess is brands like Saturn and Pontiac wouldve had potential buyers, since those cars were selling... Saturns were great performing cars, and people loved that Pontiac G6)... But, guess what... they arent "The Big Three" anymore... Toyota, Honda, VW, Ford, Volvo, Damler AG, BMW, numerous Chinese and Indian auto manufacturers, etc. all survived the economic crisis without any assistance from Obama... So it stands to reason that the auto industry survived just fine without Obama...

Your history knowledge is brought into question once again, when you say Obama was spending just like FDR... First off, FDR took office in 1933, four years after the stock market crash in 1929... Hoover was the one who began increasing spending, and he did so quite mildly, with public works projects like the Hoover Dam... so please don't give me this BS credit to FDR for lifting us out of the depression... FDR just continued or expanded many of Hoover's policies... However, then FDR went overboard with excessive regulation and restriction and spending, which went out of control, to the point where the Supreme Court had to step in to prevent it... Still even while FDR was going overboard, he didn't spend us into debt that was over 100% of our GDP until 1941, when we were suddenly thrust into a World War...

(Note that even following the depression the debt was below 40% of GDP, and not until 1941 did it go over 100% GDP, but Obama has us there now)

FDR spent quite mildly for the recovery effort... Obama spent us into debt over 100% of our GDP over a simple 16 month recession... that's completely unheard of... and his spending has been persistent, well past the point of the recession... Liberals will use the recession to mask his spending, but please ask yourself... why then in 2013 did he propose $3.8T in spending, if he announced that the recession was over in 2009, and the GDP recovered to pre-crash levels in 2010...

Make no mistake, Obama isn't spending like FDR, Obama is spending like there's no tomorrow... and as someone with two children, I fear greatly for their future with this kind of mistaken leadership... Maybe one day when you grow up, you will feel the same way, too...
FDR's war debt was just paid off in the 2000s... How long will it take to pay down Obama's debt? Long past the time when my children's children get the chance to have children... if there even still is a USA at that point... If we continue Obama's policies, there certainly won't be...

(note this slide was compiled before ObamaCare added additional entitlements and Obama ballooned the debt to $16T, but soon the interest on the debt alone will be more than revenue taken in...)
