All this press recently put out by the Obama administration made it seem like Romney did not want to go after bin Laden.
Here is video of the question being put to Romney by Chris Matthews at a GOP Debate in 2007
To me, he clearly says we should be going after bin Laden. He adds the further point, though, that the Obama administration isn't. This isn't about just bin Laden. There is a larger war against terror going on, with other people participating. Knocking off bin Laden is just one spokes on the wheel...
Notice, he is saying this in 2007, not as a political statement in the wake of the bin Laden killing... He's even saying this prior to the election of Obama...
That clearly spells out how disingenuine the Obama administrations stance on Romney was in this regard. Clearly by listening to his position, he wouldve been going after bin Laden, but he also would not have stopped with just bin Laden.
Furthermore, there's many more criticisms which Romney has of Obama's foreign policy, where it doesn't go far enough.

So to make the claim that Romney wouldn't have gone after bin Laden is not only disingenuine, its downright shameful. He didn't say don't go after bin Laden, he said don't stop at just bin Laden... which Obama seems to have...
