... where's the option for "Not the guy who is supposed to be running the country"?

I figure the guy running the freaking country should absolutely have a beer and relax from time to time. Mental breakdown + nuclear launch codes is not a good combo.

Do I have to drink it or can I pour it over my companion?

Because that changes the calculus.

I'd rather have a beer with my dog. Sorry, I know that's not what you asked, but my dog would be more fun to drink with than any of them.

Thought BushII didn't drink, he acted like a dry drunk a lot of the time.

Clinton coz he could have been a Texan

Obama coz I like his wife...

pass that I think I'll take a pass

The rule is you have to lap it out of his bowl with him.

Screw that. I'd drink with all three at once. Now that would be a party.

Who says you have to have a beer to relax? Romney doesn't drink... it's against his beliefs... But, I think he's proven an ability to cover high pressure situations without having mental breakdowns...

But, my comment had less to do with alcohol, than the premise that the more chumly guy (as in the one you want to have beer with), has any pending on the guy who is best suited to be president of the country... I don't think the president should be a sit down and have a beer with type... I think he should be one who has a nose for success and a presence of leadership to achieve that success above us... We are not electing the guy to be one of us, we are electing him to lead for us...
