So... Is anyone who thinks banning SSM protects the sanctity of marriage also working to make divorce harder and adultery illegal? If anything rampant divorce and adultery hurt the sanctity of marriage. But then again, marriage is between two people and if it's important to you then really the two within the marriage decide how that relationship will play out. Allowing homosexuals to marry doesn't touch your marriage at all, and you are the deciding factor in keeping the sanctity of marriage (along with your spouse).

<------- this guy. I don't know about the extent of criminalization for adultery, but certainly instantly if there is a divorce it's your fault and the other non-adulterous party get's mostly anything they want, to include the ability to sue you for emotional damages.

A friend of mine had a Dixie flag once. Know why he had it? He loved the Dukes of Hazard.

Point is that just because there's a dixie flag a flying it doesn't mean that they are conservative. ;)

States with their Constitutional amendments for the most part are not banning gay marriage they are just defining marriage as a union between a man and a woman........Gay people can get together they just not can not defile the sacrament of Holy Matrimony or marriage.....

I was more thinking along a monetary gain say $100. The money to be sent to a trusted third party say Captain Courtesy to be donated to DP.........

Thank you for your service NP. No telling what horrors you faced, but you survived and came home. Thank you. With that said....I don't know your age, but I'm pretty sure just from reading your posts that you have nothing to do except grump and gripe. Which is sad. And your continual use of Hussein is driving me bonkers. For that, I don't thank you.

Why do you assume gays despoil marriage? If they are doing nothing but what you have done and are despoiling marriage, then so have you.

Thank you Enola, truth be told although I was in country for 13 months and made two ten months deployments and although isssued a 45 caliber pistol when I arrived at Cam Ranh Bay which I only fired to qualify...It might havae been actually worse when we came back from Nam and were insulted and spit at by the John Kerry and "Hanoi Jane" Fonda which still bother me to this day.....I am happy that the guys coming back are not treated that way.

Make no mistake about it there are 58,000 names on that wall in DC who are the real heroes.........May they rest in peace.


After working for 46 years (21 Navy and 25 the Naval Sea Systems Coomand) I am retired and am a political junkie........Next to God and my family I love this country with my whole heart and soul and am saddened by some of the changes that my left wing friends are trying to make........I am a God fearing man although very imperfect and if he is looking at all this going on down here he can not be happy......

That would be entirely irrelevant to US law. I laso find it amusing how you pick and choose which bible verses take to heart, and which to ignore.
