Four reasons Obama

If you don’t believe rigid mathematical formulas can tell you who will win a presidential election—and I don’t—you should be even more dubious about hunches divined from a stray incident or two.

So why do I have the feeling that just such an incident—OK, make it four—made last week a very bad one for President Barack Obama’s re-election prospects?

Because they connect to much bigger problems that go to the heart of the Obama campaign’s arguments for a second term. Moreover, the time to repair these problems is rapidly running out.

I remember four years ago when all the liberals were bashing Palin. She couldn't have been any worse at VP than Biden.

Well historically we did **** up Iran. But histroy that makes US look like **** if often not taught... Sooooo.. In retrospect he is right..

Who overthrew the last democratically elected leader of Iran and installing a far right wing dictator that was opressive as ****, giving root the the Iranian revolution in response to that?

And oh yea we dont know if Iran even has nukes I mean even our intelligence community admitted that.

What regime is now SUPPOSEDLY in search of nuclear weapons? The regime installed by the IRANIAN REVOLUTION which overthrew the undemocratic dictator installed by the US in response to Mosaddegh nationalizing the oil.

But if you look at this in retrospect there is no doubt that our past foreign policy has lead to this.

I don't know that anyone is necessarily doubting nut-job's intentions. But it still hasn't been proved that Iran has nukes yet, or if they ever will. Believe be, we'll know a long time before they have any sort of operational capabilities.

But TDS is essentially correct about the origins of US-Iranian relations. Before you pooh-pooh that and make yourself look sillier, do yourself a favor and google "Operation Ajax" and "Kermit Roosevelt."

We caused the Iranian people - specifically Ahmadinejad's generation - a generation of brutal oppression at the hands of a dictator. Why in God's name would they hate us?

Could anybody really tell the difference? Cheney re-invented the Vice-Presidency into a way to draw fire off of the President. Biden's been brilliant at that. Palin would have been too. Wouldn't have made one bit of difference.

No im just not scared and trust everything the media spits at us at face value. Remember Iraq had WMDS and was perusing something dangerous "that can come in the form of a mushroom cloud"... What happened, nothing. We found nothing. We were lied to.
Also i would like to see intelegence that proves they have something before we freak the **** out and invade a country.
Also who cares if they have a WMD. Remember this line of events: AHHH THE USSR IS GOING TO GET A BOMB WERE SCREWED! What happened? Nothing. AHHHH DPRK IS GOING TO GET A BOMB THEY ARE GOING TO NUKE THE SOUTH! What happened? Nothing. Who cares if Iran gets a nuke. For ****s sake Israel has a nuke. And what happens for some retarded reason Iran would actually use a nuke (which they wont cuz 1 they dont have one and 2 its completly idiotic and they are actually rational people within the leadership of Iran) and they nuke Israel the cloud of radioactive **** is just going to come right back at them and they will literally **** themselves.
So to base everything of fear is completely idiotic, you will be nothing but a slave to fear.
