Obama Launches Campaign in Empty Arena

But here is reality: LOL

Just another lie from Mitt Romney

Bottom line that stadium was no where near to filled to capacity, 4 years ago it was.......Hussein Obama is in deep Kimchee in Ohio whether he admits it or not.........Ohio has a Republican Gov. and a Republican congress who have balanced the budget in that state and has unemployment under 4%....Be afraid my left wing friends, be very afraid.....

Lots of people in Ohio who voted for the novelty of a black man with a funny name are realizing that the joke was on them when they got a pompous ass with no real abilities.
in 2008 Obama stickers were everywhere even on mercedes in rich country club parking lots as the trophy muffy wives of the upper crust oohed and ahed over BHO. Now the only cars with Obama 2012 tend to be driven by blacks, volvo driving ninnies and tough softball playing womyn

Oh they want to claim attendance? Look at any Ron Paul event. Mitt Romney has a lot of gall talking about poor attendance

Remember this?

Four years ago, the rally was held Oct 17, 2008... just few weeks before the election. And the unemployment rate in March was 7.5%

do you collect Obama trading cards?

another lie from ya...

According to the Toledo Blade, the venue for Obama's rally seats 20,000 but "there were a lot of empty seats." Comparatively, Obama drew a crowd of 35,000 at Ohio State when he campaigned for former Governor Ted Strickland in 2010.

The official Barack Obama Tumblr boasts a figure from ThinkProgress that 14,000 attended the event--70% of the stadium's seating capacity.

Say whatever you need to say to make you feel good about your man's chances.

I, for one, am not afraid.

I thought we were supposed to be afraid, very afraid of Cain? or was it Gingrich? Or was it Santorum? Sorry, hard to keep up with your choices of who we are supposed to be afraid of.

My only hope? No, my only hope would be for None of the Above to win. But please continue with your juvenille comments and putting your foot in your mouth. I quite enjoy you doing that.

I need a decoder ring or something...your posts are nonsense as far as I can tell.

my point is Obama better find some "new votes" becasue his base is weak and all signs point to the independents breaking to the challenger.. thats called HISTORY...

Just responding to your idiotic comment of

I know you were trying to be funny, but please don't quit your day job because your comments are void of any comedy.

In this case, history is about to repeat itself but Romney is the equivalent of Kerry and will lose.

Polls today don't really mean anything. The negative publicity from the Republican Primaries has damaged Romney right now, but as history shows, he'll rebound at least a little bit as the general campaign moves into full swing.

Don't forget, if you looked at polls in May 2008 between McCain and Obama (remember, Obama was also locked in a bitter primary battle with Clinton), McCain would have won the election. Polls will change dramatically between now and the election, almost assuredly in Romney's favor. The big question is how much?

I agree... and Romney can get a huge bump with the right VP pick

I take your point. Nevertheless, polls certainly mean a hell of a lot more than some overblown and underthought analysis of how many people showed up to a campaign event.

I guess if that's the "Lib" view, it still suffers from the problem of being completely irrelevant. There is NO way to spin how well attended a campaign event was or wasn't into any valuable data for the upcoming election. So the idea that a campaign event ought to make me super confident or very afraid is just silly. There are other, better, sources of information out there.

Polls are better sources of information than how-well attended a campaign event is. So, again, I am not even remotely afraid.

If you knew how to read a poll, you should be very concerned the Hero may be a one termer

Well I guess you are right. I should probably go learn to read a poll. Do you think that you could help me?

But in all seriousness, I don't think of Obama as a hero. Furthermore, I don't think of Romney as a conservative. Even if Romney does win, I'd actually be fine with it. He's nowhere near as conservative as he pretends to be, and Obama is nowhere near as liberal as conservatives make him out to be, so I don't think the two candidates are really all that different.

So, again, I'm not even remotely afraid.

The rally in 2008 was just weeks prior to the election (Oct 17), this one was 6 months. Big difference.
