The Life of Julia

The Life of Julia — Barack Obama

It is a slide show, so I can't post anything other than the link. But, I'll give you the rundown: Julia is a 3 year old girl who will be made stupid, poor, pregnant and dead if Romney is elected. Without the government assistance of Barack Hussein Obama, she'll die several times in her life, be bankrupt from the time she enters college and have so many children that she couldn't possibly work.

What isn't mentioned is that in less than 5 years (and as early as next year if you believe some of the predictions) the US Federal Government will have so much debt that they will lose the ability to find funding for any program and all programs from social to military will be cut to the bare bones...if spending is not curtailed before then.
 
The Republican version is somewhat similar: If Obama wins, she won't be able to get a job because of illegal immigrants. She can't start her own business because of taxes and the EPA. Then when she retires (from what, who knows), she'll go before her Death Panel and be euthanized.

Welcome to election season. The mindless rhetoric is so thick you can cut it with a knife.

The real shame here is that Julia has become so dependent on government programs that she is unable to plan, care for or even think for herself. Kind of like a domesticated animal that is unable to live in the wild anymore.

Yes, because ever since FDR started Social Security, not one person has been able to think for themselves. Sort of like the way no one can buy a book since they opened the first public library

Election year commercials, oh boy, hooray for election year commercials! Without them, how would we ever fertilize our gardens?

But, who in their right mind pays a micro gram of attention to election year commercials?
 
So the lesson is Julia can't do anything without the government? Interesting that Obama chose a girl to be so helpless.

I encourage the Obama campaign to depend upon idiotic hyperbole like this. The more they make themselves look like fools, the easier this race gets.

Just further proof that this socialist, progressive President of ours will do anything to get re-elected and how brainless our society is when it comes to things like this. The progressives will push out this great slideshow, with cool looking graphics and a great heartfelt story, but very few will take notice of what they're really being sold.

The U.S. Debt could be paid down severely by those who benefited most from government's support of corps and big business. The market has bounced back, but I know people who were making killings in 2009, 2010. The super-wealthy, the fortune 500s never even blinked at the 'Great Recession'.

How is this going to end? Are the super-wealthy just going to suck as much as they can out of the economy and then leave country? Are the mega-corps going to move their entire workforce overseas and only use the American consumer class to buy their goods and services? Won't the consumer buying power eventually collapse?

The GOP pretends to care about 'small businesses' -- but it's the mega corps and industry lobbyists who fund their re-election. The Dems aren't much better. At the federal level, Dems are no friend of the middle class.

However, it's the GOP propaganda machine has their base believing Dems are socialist. What a joke....
 
I don't like the implication in the graphic that there's no way to succeed but through policies Obama has encouraged, promoted, or created. That wasn't the case before his election and it isn't the case now. There are many paths to success, and the graphic is grossly dishonest in the insinuations it makes. I would maybe expect something like that from a partisan blogger, but it disheartens me to see it from any campaign.

And yeah, I'd say the same thing if it were a pro-Romney graphic about how only his policies can "save" somebody from certain destitution.
