Well, if you are paying attention, you just know this was going to happen, the "Fair & Balanced" channel is pivoting toward Mitt Romney.

Jon Stewart marvels at Fox News’ pivot to Mitt Romney | TPM2012

Stewart marveled at conservative pundits pivoting to Romney. The former Massachusetts governor wasn’t even in Charles Krauthammer top 5, but he has since come around. Sarah Palin is finally convinced Romney will surround himself with sufficiently conservative surrogates. “Basically, she’s saying, ‘I don’t trust Romney, but I trust everyone he’ll hire,’” Stewart said.

But the most acrobatic pivot belongs to Dick Morris. He went, in Stewart’s words, from “‘conservatives will never go for this guy’ to ‘this guy is the greatest thing since sliced Reagan.’”

Oh... if Jon Stewart is saying it... than it must mean...

Remember when Jon Stewart restored Sanity? I dont either...

He's a comedian who twists people's words out of context for laughs... yet idiots follow him like he's a political genius...

What policy has Jon Stewart crafted, stuck behind, fought for, implemented, and helped the American people with? None...

Shocking...Jon Stewart is obsessed with Fox News! Who knew???? And certain similarly obsessed feeble minded liberals lap it up like dehydrated dogs. Who KNEW???? I mean...seriously????

You obviously haven't seen some of his segments lately where he's barbecued and served CNN's ass on a platter lately?

The problem often isn't that people are obssessed with Fox news.

The thing is Fox News makes it too easy to make fun of.

No, everyone only posts clips when it's Fox News.

For the sake of equilibrium could you link to some of these?

Well yeah because they're funnier...

Sorry, I was confused about the theme of the board. I figured anyone posting a thread would be making a point, not linking to some random joke they found funny.

I'm pretty sure the point as always, is that Fox News is a piece of ****.

As is 99% of the American Mainstream Media.

Great.

Hmm, where are you getting that from? It seems like if that were the point, the CNN videos would have been linked too.

Great.

So now everyone has to post every single clip of him making fun of every single news channel just to make you feel better?

The internet is a free place you know, you're quite capable of looking up those clips on your own.

If you'd like to defend Fox News you're welcome to do so too.

Some poll results are showing that Obama is going to win and Romney is got 3% less voting, Still time is there for elections and who is going to win ? Who is the best one ?

That doesn't change the fact that he's obcessed with Fox News...

In his own words... he thinks FOX News are brilliant at what they do, but absolutely hates what they do and blames them for ruining the political atmosphere in the country... He think MSNBC is now catching on to what FOX News is doing, and has their own brand, which he is okay with, because it's combating FOX News... and he thinks CNN has this great chance to be the equlibrium in the process and stand out as the true unbiased and yet they're squandering it, so he hates them for it...

For me that fails to grasp the fact that the entire media bias has always been heavily liberal leaning... and FOX News was the reaction to that... MSNBC was already there and already a liberal outlet (launched in April of 96 to FOX News' October of 96 reactionary launch), who have now been allowed to go even further left thus extended the liberal media bias further in favor of moonbats... FOX News was also there to battle against the CBS, ABC, and NBC nightly news programs that have been heavily liberal for years... and CNN have always been a moderate conservative voice, with heavily liberal leanings... of the Reaganite variety...

I think the other major aspect Jon Stewart misses (or at least many of his ardent followers miss), is that MSNBC (which actually derives its name from Microsoft... you had MS word... now you got MSNBC...) and is owned by GE... that's right two heavily liberal coroporate entities who push a biased pro liberal agenda, and then reap the financial rewards of political deals which reward GE and Microsoft... he never seems to poke at that... whereas he will trample FOX News for standing for corporations...

So yes, Jon Stewart rips all sides... although if you remember Jon Stewart back before Bush... he used to hate both political parties equally, and support centrist positions, but now he's a huge FOX News and Bush basher, and supports heavily liberal agendas... he's no longer the unbiased centrist that attacked both sides equally and stood up for the average american that he used to be.... it's really a shame...

Stewart might be a liberal hack but a broken clock is right twice a day.He pointed out what a hypocrite John McCain was for calling democrats socialists and turning around supporting bailouts. He also showed what a bunch of idiotic anti-war trash code pink is for trying to kick the Marines out of Berkly. He is right on this too. At the end of the day republicans are just republicans and will sell out what ever conservative values they claim to have to vote for a liberal just because he is a republican.

Another great piece by the Daily Show. No one is better at highlighting hypocrisy.

Its common knowledge that when the Primary started ALL the teaparty types and most conservative pundits railed on Romney...called him a LIB used his health care law to compare him with Obama...brought up his history of supposed Liberal stances...called him a RINO that will never be elected...who could never beat obama...another Mcsame..blahblahblahblah...as they watched every single far right teaparty darling candidate get SMASHED by their own republican voters...they slowly made Romeny their hero...its laughable how some hail romeny now that consistently railed against him, including DBF posters

In 2008 I saw many people rail against Obama and praise Hillary in the primary. Yet who were they supporting in November?

Nothing to see here..... Move along...

There were a lot of Democrats who were enthusiastic about Hillary AND Obama. In contrast, there are very few Republicans who are very enthusiastic about Romney.

Did you miss the reality that while there is all sorts of in-fighting during a primary, once a candidate is selected or clearly going to be selected, a party rallies around them. Works on both sides.

That anyone would point it out as a bad thing or something odd or funny in a partisan manner, kinda points out that persons 1) partisanship or 2) lack of paying attention.

this was to be expected.... coagulating around the guy who is most likely to win the party nomination is not something odd or weird.

LMFAO @ no one is enthusiastic about Romney... He wrapped up the nomination in April.... It took Obama until June... Sounds like someone has done a better job coalescing support from his party...

But, you want to include criticisms from McCain... Here's what the very same guy had to say about Obama (turns out he was right, too)

or I could quote Hillary Clinton's "That's not Change you can believe in, it's change you can Xerox", "Shame on you, Obama", "He played the Race Card", etc. comments..

Can you show or prove this 'twisting' and taking out context?

We'll wait.

back up what you said.

It's ironic that Fox News is telling us to vote for a candidate with a liberal track record like Mitt Romney.

Of course, Stewart knew that Fox would "pivot" to Romney if he were nominated. Anyone who pays any attention at all to politics knew that pivoting was in the future. "Marveling" about it is simply engaging in what Stewart does best: Holding the absurd up to the light of day and saying, "Look at this! How funny it is!"

Jon Stewart will never run out of material, that's for sure.

Stewart marvels at pundits doing the same things pundits do in every election. He musts easily be marveled
