Sarah palin should have run for President.

Well, Billa...you've certainly made a splash in the pool with your first post. Gratz.

Now you'll have to contend with all our rabid Palin-hating members. Have fun with that.

BTW, I think she would have made a much better President than the destructive clown we have in Office at the moment, but we'll never see it because of the liberals and the media were quite successful in painting her as worse than even Bush...if that is even possible. It's a shame.

The hell ever happened to "personal responsibility"? Whether or not the "liberal media" actual had it out for Sarah, she showed her ass and absolutely withered in front of the cameras. Her media performances were unimpressive at best, and embarrassing at worst. For the media to actually portray someone as worse than Bush, you actually have to provide them with enough material and soundbites to allow them to do so, which is something Sarah did beautifully.

Intellgent? Hell no I ain't votin for no intellgent polticien! They gots book learning and book learnin's only for lefty librels. It aint for good workin' God-fearin Chrischian folk like me. College is fer snobs santorium said so.

Also women they aint s'posed to be President they sposed be home takin care of the kids and makin my dinner, not like a lefty librel women tryin to show off her book learnin'.

Mitt can still put Palin on the ticket as his VP. Oh please oh please make our dreams come true.

He has to make Palin his running mate or else he'll lose the evangelical vote.

I WISH Sarah had run, the circus could have used another clown. Shrill, bombastic, divisive, and totally clueless on issues of any import....ahh those were her GOOD qualities...

. . .the qualities that won it for bush and nearly won it for santorum.

The anti-SSM and anti-abortion stuff don't bother me as much. I dislike her because she was (or at least seemed like she was) absolutely clueless. Her appearances in interviews and on TV were like an embarrassing caricature of what it means to be a stereotypical dumb American. Frankly, she is an embarrassment to her party.

You don't understand GOP politics. She was an asset to her party; that's why she was picked.

mccain's campaign manager bet correctly that a young clueless bimbo would give mccain and edge and it worked. However, its effect was temporary; once mccain uttered that the "fundamentals of the economy are sound" and the markets crashed, his position became hopeless, and obama ran with it till the end.

Someone who actually speaks knowledgeably about the issues would get nowhere politically in the GOP, i. e. Ron Paul.

Oh, give me a break, will ya?

Did you ever hear the "I can see Russia from my house" line that the liberals and the media made such a big deal about? That wasn't provided by Palin...and there are many more examples of liberal attacks on Palin that were totally unwarranted, totally spun and examples of gaffes that would have been ignored or excused if Obama had made them. We've seen many such Obama gaffes dismissed, you know.

No, StillBallin75, this whole Palin-bashing thing is a liberal tactic...nothing more...nothing less.

She is the true leader we all need right now. She is far more intelligent than Obama you only have to hear her speak to know that, or read her book which is far better than anything Obama has written for sure. Overall she stands for American values and I believe she should be put in charge and take us to a better place. She would increase jobs, increase not only our safety but also make the world a better place with her policies. I'm tired of the media portraying her as not experienced enough to be the President when she is quite frankly the most intelligent and qualified person in America. God loves you Sarah.

Excellent stuff!

Atually, I thought she was an excellent exampe of her party. The rest of your statement I agree with.

palin blew it because she was a woman. Her lack of intelligence was completely irrelevant. Intelligence only has relevance when it comes to leadership but not necessarily when it comes to campaigns. In GOP campaigns, signs of intelligence are, in fact, always a liability. GOP pols who went to college have to work hard to downplay that fact to konservative voters, and they always do. Education is like kryptonite to the right wing voting bloc, esp. the evangelical segment--to them, it's merely a form of elitism, and they don't like that.

While she didn't say that she could see Russia from her house, when asked about foreign policy she touted that Russia was a neighbor and some jibberish about Putin rearing his head. She might as well have said she could see Russia from her house.

That was ****ing SNL, and let's stop pretending that that was the only quote the "liberal media" has to go on. She provided plenty of other fodder in her interviews, as you just admitted.

This joke of an interview is precisely the kinda crap I'm referring to. Now if you can provide an Obama interview with similarly off-topic responses to such questions, I'd like to see it.

Considering the fact a lot of evangelicals are conservative it doesn't matter who Romney picks as his VP.Romney is a liberal, real conservatives avoid voting for lib. The only way he would be pick Palin is if he is trying to make it blatantly obvious that he is trying to give Obama his 2nd term. She also flip flopped on a couple of issues and she quit being governor of Alaska. The fact she is a quitter will prevent her from winning any new election.

Rated "full flop" on Cap and Trade. Picture of her floating around with a shirt that expresses support for the bridge to nowhere. Can't handle being grilled by the press with such questions as "what newspapers do you read?" Quit halfway through a term as governor so she could go make millions doing book tours. But yeah, you must dislike her because she's a woman ;)

Obama is a mortal lock to win reelection.

She also flipped on Abortion considering her Alaska supreme court judicial nominations.

I love Sarah for the enthusiasm she brought to the Republican campaign in the last election.

However, the problem was two-fold; first, a lot of people in the media ran with some errors she made and played them over and over and over again to minimize her. Because in reality, she really has a lot of talent when it comes to governing, and before going on the national stage she was an extremely effective Governor. The second problem during the campaign is that unfortunately, the McCain campaign mistakenly hid her away for a while after some errors she made, she could have easily rebounded from those, but instead, the media had tons of time to focus on her negatives without her there to rebut it and without her getting out and showing her strengths. Again, the McCain campaign totally mismanaged that whole thing. Here they have someone that injected life into the Republican campaign and they hide her away after one less than perfect interview. That was a major error that they never recovered from.

She isn’t going to run anymore, that time has passed. If she does, it will be at best as a Senator. Although, she is doing extremely well now financially, so she may just keep doing what she is doing.

Extremely effective Governor? Seriously? Where did you get that idea? A lot of Alaskans wouldn't agree. She quit because of lawsuit after lawsuit, complaints about her lack of governoring skills.

Where do you get your information from? I'd really like to see something concrete regarding your claims.

While Palin won't be on the GOP ticket this year, the GOP is making a similar mistake regarding image.

When working women found out Palin was wearing suits from Neiman-Marcus on the campaign trail, it eliminated the possibility of those voters supporting the McCain-Palin ticket.

That same issue comes into play this year because of Romney. Working class voters do not see any connection at all between Mitt Romney and themselves.

Yea she should of. Obama would win by 70% then.

Woman that judge a person by where they shop is not one you would want voting for you anyway. If that's the highest issue their concerned about, vote for the other guy.

Lol, and Palin's idea of experience is the ability to see foreign countries across bodies of water.
