Take a close look at this video. Was he about to finish saying the word "nigger", or did he have a second or two of word salad and this means nothing?

Oh snap!

There's no way to know what he was going to say, but this is just another thing to mix things up for Santorum.

/cue the conservative cries of liberals pulling the race card and how unfair the world is

I REALLY don't like Santorum but this is deperate grasping for an attack.

Honestly, it seems more like he just screwd up his wording than anything else.

Judging by the limited repertoire of slogans that Santorum usually relies on, my guess is that what he was trying to say was "anti-war, big government."

He botched "big government," went back to quickly correct himself, and it came out as you hear it on the video.

THIS. IS. SO. STUPID....

Please don't tell me that people really believe this.....

BUT, to the extent that it is probably a joke (god, I hope so), it is moderately funny.
Ha.

There is so much you can already fault Santorum for, I don't think this is one of them.

Of course they will. Why not? People believed Obama wasn't a citizen. People believe Gingrich really is sorry about cheating on his wives. People believes Romney is a conservative. People believe Eric Holder didn't know about Fast and Furious. Sure, he meant to say the N word. Whatever. Some idiot will believe it.

I don't like Santorum but if he almost used the n word after government, can someone explain to me what a "goverment nigger" is and how often the derogatory term is used?

I just died a little inside because I know that you are right.

I realize that this is supposed to be a rhetorical question, but I have a feeling you might start getting answers to your question...this could get ugly pretty quickly.

As they say in football, the evidence is inconclusive.

I can't imagine that's what he meant to say, because he's never been known to be an out and out racist.

Even when they emphasized it a few times it still didn't sound like he was about to drop an n-bomb.

I think MSNBC or some other liberal news site will claim he was trying to call Obama a government nigga or government nigger.

Of course you think that.

Easy just ask rick what he was going to say that he could get out. Let himself say the word that was suppose to be. To be absolutely fair to catch yourself on a bumbled partial word coming out of your mouth one that sounds like "nig" isn't so great.

Good news! We have a pile of sound experts around here that worked on Treyvon/George sounds clips of a 911 call of those questioned words that was said to be terms of endearment.
