Did Santorum drop the N bomb on Obama?

Did Rick Santorum catch himself dropping the N word on Obama?

Where's the option for "who gives a rats ass what santorum says... Why do people still pay attention to this guy?"

That would be covered under "I don't care"

This is a case, I think, where we should just give Santorum the benefit of the doubt. There is no good in vilifying someone for something without good evidence one way or the other.

Agreed, and for what it's worth it's really irrelevant in any case. There are plenty of other reasons to dislike him as a candidate.

Take a close look at this video. Was he about to finish saying the word "nigger", or did he have a second or two of word salad and this means nothing?

Means absolutely nothing. He had a mild case of jock itch at that crucial moment

All is well now

Santorum is having good command on his speech he attract every one and discussed on his speech

Given all the benefit of the doubt being handed out here, I'm going to play Devil's Advocate and ask a question. Let's see who can come up with a reasonably plausible answer. In context.

Can you finish the sentence?: "...the aniti-war, the government ni(g)..."

The incomplete word after 'government' must begin with "ni". I left off the 'g' to give a little leeway. You may use a dictionary. Faux noble claims of "I cannot read his mind" and the such will receive an automatic 'F'. This is an open-book test.

Yeah, I thought about it too and I can't think of a word that would otherwise fit. But its still not solid evidence one way or another and in cases like this (or that whole florida thing) its best to withhold judgement in the absence of facts.

Is there anything in Santorum's past which would make you think he was a racist?

It's evidence, but it's not proof. And there are times where facts will never be known and all people have to go on is weighing the evidence.

Dodging the question with a question does not address the question.

I'll take your dodge as a, "No, I can't think of any legitimate alternatives, either."

Yeah, thing is an accusation of racism is a pretty serious charge in our current culture. I see it as irresponsible to level such a strong charge without very good evidence. For me, this isn't good enough.

IMO, if you found anything in that mumbled speech, you were looking for it.

this:
“want to make black people’s lives better by giving them other people’s money.”
but he defended himself by insisting that he said 'blah"

"...the anti-war government ni(g)gardly provides assistance to our key allies such as israel while then providing many billions to the likes of pakistan"
that was my devil's advocate response

really tried to summon up the teachings of south park to find an application of the word "nagger" but that would not work in any form or fashion

Are you saying that quote is proof Santorum has a racist past? Just for clarification.

Oh, the irony.

Nibblers? Nincompoops? Nitwits? Nimhs? (I'm not even sure if Nimh is an actual word or just part of a children's movie, tbh.

I honestly can't think of anything, with the exception of nitwits, that would be applicable. I still think that it was a case of the tongue being tied and Santorum having generally unfortunate luck, though.

This guy always stumbles verbally. Wouldn't be surprised if that was about to come out of his mouth.

I don't know and I don't care.

I don't know. I doubt I'd have caught it if I hadn't gone into it knowing what I was intended to hear. But I find it sort of hard to believe even the stupidest of politicians would have such a fatal slip of professionalism.
