After talking for over a decade that contraceptives lead to decadent and unnatural sexual behavior and even blasting the Supreme Court's decision in the 60s for ruling laws outlawing birth control were unconstitutional, with him ramping that up his anti-contraceptives talk almost incessantly for during the Southern primary states battle winning favor with evangelicals, his wife now says Rick Santorum actually will "do nothing" about contraceptives - conveniently just before the more moderate open Illinois primary.

Somehow, a candidate taking on and on against contraceptives - something he did for years - to win favor with evangelicals in states where they most matter, and then having his wife declare actually he will "do nothing" for a state where evangicals don't rule the Republican primary - in my opinion confirms Santorum is a say anything at the moment to win guy.

We was pro-choice before he was pro-life. He was for the federal government banning all state's right-to-work laws before he was against forced union membership. He was for increasing debt spending before he was against it...

Anyway, Santorum has a new campaign slogan. Rick Santorum is the "do nothing" candidate in relation to what he says are what he most cares cares about in his "spiritual", "not political," campaign in his own words.

Look "Joker"! You have to give up on Rick Santorum "banning birth control". He won't! Stop being so paranoid. HE HAS NEVER mentioned in any of his townhalls or speeches about contraception, unless it has to do with Obama who wants to force us to pay for wether we are against it or not.

Please open your eyes and accept the fact that the reason why you are afraid of Santorum is because he actually has a moral core.

Ban contraceptives? Is the left fantasizing again? So no more condoms or pills in the drug store by order of Santorum, is that what they believe? Will we be burning books next?

Makes you wonder why they love birth control so much. Eh?

And yet there are dumb ass conservatives that think Obama will become a dictator.

That isn't why I'm afraid of Santorum. Morality is fine, and praiseworthy in a politician. But don't for a second think that preaching about his own personal moral code is in anyway a display of moral behavior.

That one is 99.9% more likely than Rick Santorum banning birth control. :lamo

.... - Why is it 99.9% more likely? Is it easier to become a dictator than it is to ban birth control?

The funny part is that when you ask those idiot conservatives HOW Obama will become a dictator, they just say "He just will" or they try to explain such a large conspiracy that makes the 9/11 truthers seem more sane.

He just will!

Simple, create unrest and violence. The bottom (any violent group like OWS) will come up. We will ask for the top (the govt) to stop them. And little we'll know that they are working together, in order to create a dictatorship.

So then you're saying the GOP will be compliant with this little scheme?

Well looks like I was proven right by Amigo. Amigo's conspiracy theory makes the 9/11 truthers appear sane.

Nevermind the fact that this would all have to be succesfully accomplished by November.

Go ahead, ignore my warning. :coffeepap

Claims that Santorum will ban contraceptives scare about as much as claims that Obama will ban guns. The Supreme Court's ruling is pretty clear and probably will not be overturned any time soon. Until then, the President can't get rid of them. Santorum might push for greater restrictions or reduced subsidies for contraceptives, but he would lack both the legal authority and political backing to fulfill the scariest parts of his agenda.

Oh... his wife said it? Now it must mean something...

Although, maybe we should put stock into that... since she has seen firsthand that he does nothing for birth control... (ba dum ching...?)

Warning? Both sides use scare tactics, so I am not going to give you much grief for doing the same. Republicans want to convince you that Obama is an illegal alien that eats babies, and Democrats want to convince you that Santorum will be sending Liberals to death camps. It's the same (with other candidates) every election cycle. LOL.

But is it true? No it isn't. The truth is that Santorum and Obama have this bet going. Whoever causes the most suicides of those who support their opponents get to sacrifce the next baby when Satan coronates him at his inaugural ball. Really, it's true. Why? Because I said it. LOL.

I'm not using scare tatics. I'm just warning what could happen this year.
