The GOP has lost the Latino vote

I can't understand what this post is attempting to convey. I do know it appears to be some form of hate speech, however.

Y que coincidencia! Yo mismo soy de familia hispana!
Oye.. te reporté.

Who cares? TD is GOD on the firing range. He can say whatever he damn well pleases.

Lo he constatado lo que sospechaba.
Esto explica mucho sobre su postura sobre muchos temas.

IMO, you play the hate/race card way to much in some of your replies.

I believe this thread is complete.

I bet you have many years to live before you come close to life experiences I and other have had.
My point. It is clear you are proud of your hertigate. Good for you.
IMO, Playing the race/hate card just diminishes your point of view.

and by the way, I am Not your "son". I could take offense, but won't. Because it is meaningless to me.

I tell you what. I had the honor and privilege of knowing some of the most down to earth, honest, hard working people on the face of this planet when I spent some time on a job down in the valley of Texas. I said to myself, more than once, "Why can't more white people be like this?"

I have the utmost respect for the hispanic/latino community and that is why I can't see them, generally speaking, supporting rightwing agendas.

But, I have to say in all fairness, even the liberals want to get a grip on all these illegal aliens invading the country. And many hispanics I know, that were either born here or got here the honest way, tend to agree. At least, the one's I've met.

In fact, I know some 2nd and 3rd generation Americans of latino heritage that would just as soon have the border violators shot in their tracks.

It's hard to pidgeon hole any culture with an "across the board" point of view. People are very diverse regardless of their culture.

No, **** it's meaningless to you.
Also this is my first legitimate race card draw in your presence.

Perhaps if you wore a necklace of ears in Nam.

Hold on there now... you're not going to get away with that one

Race really isn't an issue for Republicans, but it is for the Democratic base.

Right, when Newt Gingrich calls Obama the "food stamp president," it's not racist. When Rick Santorum announces unprompted that he doesn't want to "make black people's lives better by giving them someone else's money" (he later claimed he said "blah people"), it's not racist. When Arizona Republicans pass a law making it legal to detain any brown people because they might be illegal immigrants, it's not racist. When Republican congresspeople try to pass "voter fraud" laws that don't actually stop the nonexistent problem of voter fraud, but do tend to significantly lower minority turnout, it's not racist. When Republicans try to ban a mosque from being built near the site of the World Trade Center, it's not racist. When Republicans (and to be fair, many Democrats) push anti-drug laws and "tough on crime" enforcements that result in the incarceration of more young black males than are enrolled in college, it's not racist. When Republican legislators hold congressional hearings on whether or not Muslims are loyal Americans, it's not racist. When Alabama Republicans pass a law encouraging vigilante justice against anyone who looks like they might be here illegally, and discouraging renting an apartment to anyone with a Hispanic-sounding name, it's not racist.

Give me a freaking break. Who do you think you're fooling? There's a reason that Republicans are the party of embittered white people, and virtually no one else. And it's not because everyone else has been brainwashed by the Big Bad Democrats, it's because - just maybe - people don't appreciate being treated like second-class citizens.

its you leftwing extremists who treat people as members of groups not me

Oh lord, I hope you meant the joke in this post. Can't...stop...laughing....

This is a poll from FOX News, and it spells doom this year for the Republican Party.

Obama 69.6
Romney 14.2

Whether or not you like George Bush, you have to hand this to him. He heavily courted the Latino vote, and they were largely responsible for his victories in both 2000 and 2004. What have the Republicans done with this legacy, which would have kept them in office for I believe at least a generation? They squandered it. Frankly, most Latinos now see Republicans as bigots. What are Democrats doing? They are telling Latinos whatever they want to hear, and even though they are lying, they are peeling off those Latino votes in record numbers. The Bush legacy with Latinos now belongs to Obama.

So how do Republicans repair the damage? Quit acting so insane would be a good start.

Article is here.

South Western governors are always going to have better pull with the Latino's than without.

What joke? Turtle's absolutely correct. It's simply a fact that the Left is generally more collectivist than the Right.

This is of course we forget that "the right wing" in the US calls itself the "silent majority" made primarily of working class white males of a Protestant background.

No, actually whites were largely responsible for his victories in both 2000 and 2004.

I wouldn't define getting only 1/3rd of a vote as "largely responsible" for anything.

Yeah, whites don't like being treated as second-class citizens by the anti-white hating left.

Race really isn't an issue for Republicans, but it is for the Democratic base.

Most other political issues are used as proxies to race, race is probably the only issue.

In short, Bull Pucky!

I am a native New Mexican, born and breed. And though I am white ( mix of German Jew, English, Irish and Norwegian, to give proper credit to my diverse ancestors ....), my wife and her entire family, and thus including my two grown daughters, their husbands and their young families, are all 6-10th Generation Hispanic southwestern middle class.

From my wife's 70+ year old parents, to herself and sister, to my soldier daughter serving in the army, the whole kit and caboodle have dusted off the voter registration for the first time in 12 years, so motivated by the economic devastation wrought by Obozo and company.

This is nothing more than another attempt at self full-filling push polling. ( No, I don't accept that claims that because its from the "EVVVVVVIL FOX News" makes it credible to conservatives. You can make a poll say anything you like, I TALK to my extended family! )

Yes, Pres. Obama with likely get a majority of the elitist bankers, Multi-National Outsourcing Corporate CEOs, and dollist handout grubbers, of whatever nationality.

But not my wife's proud and hardworking folk, they're simply not so short sighted that they'll allow themselves to be bribed with a paltry sliver of what's being stolen from their own children's future.

My wife's parents have been staunch Democrat Bloc voters all their lives, now they're selling their home of forty years to recover from their stock market losses and property tax increases. They'll live with my wife's sister in what would and should have been golden years. They are ashamed of their plight and FURIOUS with the Democrats for the bailouts of banker CEOs getting million dollar bonuses while middle class fast track foreclosures get robo-signed.

Every native New Mexican born American Hispanic I know ( Scores of them!) feels the same way. These are Americans who trace their North American roots back to a time before the first Eastern Sea-board States formed the first confederation. Among other outrages, The World Wide American Apology Tour shamed them deeply.

The Liberals will keep telling themselves that Latinos are ALL behind their agenda, but they're only fooling themselves.

If the Democrats do get a "Majority" of the Hispanic Vote, it will come of Voter Fraud, not legitimate American Citizen Support.

The Democrats may be able to steal the election, but they'll never have the good will and trust of the people required to Govern.

What: do all Latinos vote together in pacts or something?

A single Latino can't vote however they want?

I think pasting them all over as being a group with tethered support to gain in one single quantity is a grotesque abuse of the freedoms that we claim to uphold.

In fact - I'm sick of it all around: other women do not speak for me - other native americans do not represent my son - other whites do not represent me . .. and so on. I'm tired of these 'group tactics' - it's absurd.

Be as sick as you want, just give me a godamn bass-line!

The numbers don't lie. They are pissed.

With all due respect, I have to call BS on that. The extremists in both wings are collectivists, or did you miss the Bush administration when we were told to watch what we say?

Yeah, whites don't like being treated as second-class citizens by the anti-white hating left.

Case in point.

Many Republicans have developed a "siege mode" mentality where it's WHITE people who are being treated as second-class citizens...despite having virtually all the political and economic power in this country. It's completely at odds with observable reality, but that doesn't matter.

This kind of **** is why minorities are turned off by the GOP. Not because they're brainwashed by Democrats and/or want to live on welfare.
