Obama wins ohio primary

Articles like the one cited do not 'prove' anything, but they sure do make the argument that NPR is biased look pretty solid. Comparing a sitting unopposed president to a 4 way dogfight opposition vote and declaring Obama the 'winner' is idiotic. There arent enough buckets in Revs fail pail warehouse for the OP.
The article was taken from the nation. A left wing magazine. Its not NPR s

Might want to check your source. That sure does LOOK like NPR that is posting it.

It says "Partner Content from The Nation."

But NPR still posted it under its own rubric, which raises the question . . . why is NPR posting articles from what 99percenter calls a "left-wing" magazine?

Might want to get your eye exam. "Partner content from: the nation"
Partner means what? And its posted on where? And it was cited in an OP by...oh yeah...

Obama isn't running unopposed -- he had to fight his way past Vermin Supreme!

Might end up being a more viable opposition opponent than what the GOP field is offering...

President Obama was undoubtedly the Super Tuesday winner.

Exactly ... and Obama wins most of the Republican debates as well.

I am not a party loyalist and anything could happen. Most likely I will vote for Obama based on resolute intellect coupled with some key issues ...yet I really do not have a dog in the race.

It really shows how weak the Republicans are ... and they bypass candidates like Huntsman for these clowns.

The real story of the GOP primary — and Super Tuesday — is not that Romney won't be the GOP nominee (he will be, eventually), but how bruised he will be entering the general election. The polling on Romney over the past week has been dreadful for the Republican frontrunner.

In the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, Obama leads Romney by six points (50-44) among all voters, seven points among independents (46-39) and eighteen points among women (55-37).

resolute intellect? WTF does that mean Romney's smarter than Obama-its not even close

Ahhh not the determining factor in choosing a candidate yet clearly Obama is Romney's intellectual superior.

Not true

Romney had a better academic record than the affirmative action case and had far more success after college

Obama has done nothing particularly well other than run for office

Your evidence for THAT is what?

He says crap she likes hearing

He couldn't even make basic honors at Columbia while Romney-who was at the very top of his class at Stanford, graduated with a 3.96 at BYU. Romney saved the Olympics from being a financial failure and helped bail Mass. out of major red ink. Obama has done nothing noticeable in any job he has had

They're both smart guys. No one makes it through an ivy league college or makes a couple of hundred million bucks without some smarts.

Even Bush II was smart, despite his affecting a good old boy persona and talking like Larry, the Cable Guy. So was Clinton and his predecessor.

It's hard to win the presidency without some smarts.

The question is, how good are they at leading, and will they lead this nation in the right direction?

Related question: Can anyone really lead his divided and rebellious nation?

Romney has a track record of competence

Obama does not

Obama is leading is virtually every swing state and hasn't even started campaigning yet, you do the math. Knowing the history of the republican party, i expect they will probably nominate another actor for vice president.

what's the relevance at this point in the thread. and until the GOP has a candidate that sort of polling is worthless

A short list on Obama

Diverted a downward spiraling economic depression by the previous admin
He has save billions in tax revenues in healthcare (medicare reform/EMR/more americans qualifying to buy ins)
He's killed Osama Bin Laden
Eliminated several other Al-Qaeda leaders
Ended the War in Iraq
Begun the drawdown of forces from Afghanistan

This is the short list ... I could list hundreds of reasons. Romney is not stupid ... he is simply a guy who made millions dismantling American business and became a career candidate that loses elections.

The economy was in free fall when Obama was sworn in. The house of cards was falling and the BuCheney admin got out by the scruff of their necks and now you do not like the way Obama stopped the downward spiral?

One can simply listen to the two men on the issues and determine Obama is Romney's intellectual superior. Most likely we will all have that opportunity in the 2012 election ...ahhh the beauty of a Democratic Republic!

Huntsman would have had a chance to beat Obama.

In the end it is irrelevant ... as unless we have true finance reform and reversal of Citizens v. United there is not candidate who is truly a success.

The longer the GOP takes to nominate their candidate only improves my statements relevance. I am still not convinced Romney will be the man either. If Newt drops out of the race all of his support will flock to Santorum, Romney can't beat Santorum if he gains Newts support, thats a fact.

Navy SEALS killed OBL

most of that are BS talking points

You seem to think those who are left wing are the intellectual superiors of conservatives.

That doesn't make much sense.

The mistake is in thinking the President needs to lead.

Oh, sure, there are extraordinary times when it's necessary. But in ordinary, peaceful times, he should barely exist in any form that people notice. Division and "rebellion" should also be irrelevant. We're not a herd of cattle, and he's not a drover.

Obama renewed the commitment that Bush dropped ... to hunt and kill OBL and gave the order for the mission to go forward.

Actually, Bush ended the war in Iraq (by winning it, by the way, which Obama opposed). Obama didn't do a thing toward it.

Still waiting for the "clear" evidence that Obama is Romney's intellectual superior.
