Re: Santorum sweeps South: wins Alabama and Mississippi

This is just further evidence that the national GOP is truly becoming a regional party.

I can't believe you seriously mean this.

Re: Santorum sweeps South: wins Alabama and Mississippi

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let him with the nomination!

The exact same thing you lefties said about RR in 1980...........Be careful what you wish for my far out left wing friend............you might just get it..........:lamo

Re: Santorum sweeps South: wins Alabama and Mississippi

Dont think he will win though. He is too behind in the delegate count.

He does not have to win the delegate count, all he has to do is prevent Romney from getting it...That will free Romney delegates to throw there vote to Santorum who is the real Conservative.

Re: Santorum sweeps South: wins Alabama and Mississippi

I am telling you he just constantly throws **** up against the wall and hopes it will stick

Re: Santorum sweeps South: wins Alabama and Mississippi

if santorum gets the nomination and loses to obama, ill still be proud conservatives got to choose vs a conserative and liberal;.still tires of liberals saying republicans will lose if they choose a conservative, you liberals were already gonna vote obama even if romney wins but half the conservatives would stay home in protest.

just face it liberals your cheering for the most unelectable candidate hoping conservatives will take your advice, which so far repubs stopped taing the repub parties advice and said screw romney,if romney cant even rally conservatives in his own base he lost before the election started.

Well seeing how the fed just released numbers saying everything is on the up and up and next month unemployment is expected to be below 8% things are looking to be more in Obama's favor. I still stand by my bets in another thread, and will bet any con here Obama wins. Name your stakes.

no bets for me,but the candidate who plays it safe cant win against a home field advantage, they need to make waves, santorum and gingrich waves might be good or bad for em,but a 50% chnce of winning though being bold is better than 0% like romney would be.

I believe this is the most unique and important election in our lifetime and I believe if Santorum gets the nomination the silent majority and that means Conservatives and Independents will come out in droves and vote for him. The last thing we want to see is another 4 years of that stumblebum Hussein Obama.. People wanted change in 2008 and they got it.........The wrong change......Our country as we know it is going down the tubes and can not stand another 4 years of him.........

i agree obama is the wrong change, just like i agree romney is for maintaining the status quo that failed us for 16 years.why do people demand change but expect them from the most pro establishment candidates.

Re: Santorum sweeps South: wins Alabama and Mississippi

The primary problem with GOP candidates...they all wanna be "controllers" of the the US, not leaders. People are fed up with government telling them how to live their lives. We need responsible management, not dictorial jerks, which seems to be the fashionable style of those sitting on "both sides of the isle".

We have a government filled with DemoPublicans who have lost respect for their office and those who seated them to "serve" to protect our nation's interest.

The DemoPublicans are seriously self-will-run-riot.

The choice I want to see on the ballots: NONE OF THE ABOVE

Your drinking the Hussein Obama koolaid my friend.....Did you know that the Republican Congress has approved over 100 bills and sent them to the senate and Reid has tabled every one.....why do you think the congress approval rating is so low?

I was hoping with my heart that the people would vote McCain in but I really did not think it would happen........I believe he is a great man but to old and it showed.

The silent majority doesn't exist, its never existed. Regan didn't win because of conservative wind fall he won because Carter was more borning than a saltine and his stance on the cold war.

Santorum can't win independents because he's too concerned with social issues. Its the economy stupid! And since rings have steadily improved Obama will get credit unless something drastic happens like another war.

Good point, Romney is no conservative we must organize and make sure he does not get the nomination..........I truly believe Santorum can win.

no reagan won because he offered an alternative to carters failed policies, even to this day liberals bring up bushes failure but cringe and deny carters administration.

One word for you my friend GASOLINE People are not happy and every time they look at that $5. on the pump they think of Hussein Obama

the silent majority does exist, they usually sit it out......that won't happen this time.

1) Gas prices will be lower in the fall than they are now
2) gas prices spiked Durning the 04 election
3) you are right petiole will blame Obama for tying gas prices just like they blamed bus, but just like bush, Obama will likely own the narritive by nov.

you said he lost because he was boring, but he lost because his policies failed and his administration had no real solution in sight.

many dont agree with reagan but at that time it was a choice between failed policy or one that could possibly succeed, and the people decided things couldnt get much worse lets try reagans idea.

Every time I see a post similar to yours...it makes me laugh. How do you explain $1.89 a gal until summer 2008 and the price of oil jumped to $145.00 a barrel?

You may have to use your fingers to count, but that happened before Obama was elected...and you can take it to the bank it will come out during the presidential debates between Obama...and whoever.

Your listening to too much talk radio propaganda.

oh I see what you did lol. It still helps support the fact that the silent majority doesn't exist and currently the numbers are saying Obama's policies are working.

What you and other gas-price nazis are missing is that gas prices are tied to the health of the economy. If the economy continues to improve, gas prices will stay high, or go even higher. If it backslides, gas prices will fall. So in the end, gas prices won't affect the election a whole lot. If they go up the effect will be offset by lower unemployment and higher wages. It will dent Obama to a degree, but not nearly to the degree that Republicans are hoping.

You can see this in effect right now, as high gas prices haven't stopped consumer spending from growing and they haven't put a damper on job growth.

if i remember correctly gas has spiked and dropped ober the past decade, before i joined the army it was 145 a barrel and gas prices were barely higher than now.gas companies do hold down prices in extreme oil spikes to keep economic failure from occuring, and from a logical standpoint they are smart,if the economy fails no one can buy gas,if you charge $2.50 for gas at 45 a barrel and $4.00 a gallon at $145 a barrel triple costs to gas producers but less than double gas prices.

oil cannot be controlled by the president and never will be,its a commodity thats gone up in price, though the pres doesnt control it,im sure his threats to iran have caused it to spike.

again why are so many liberals saying romney is the only one to win, your not gonna vote for him anyways, and his winning the primary means losing more conservative support than he gains from independants.
