Or "Birther endorses Mitt Romney for president"
You can't stop anyone from endorsing you candidacy, but why do go on stage with him?

Reality television show host Donald Trump injected himself into the race for the Republican nomination for president, endorsing Mitt Romney just days before Nevada voters head to the polls to decide who they want to take on President Obama in November.

"Mitt is tough. He is smart," Trump said with Romney at his side at the brief announcement at a Las Vegas hotel bearing his name.

"It is my honor, real honor, and privilege to endorse Mitt Romney," Trump added.

Perhaps not coincidentally, Trump's announcement comes ten days before the beginning of the new season of Trump's reality show, "The Apprentice," which airs February 12.

Seriously, is this an asset for the Romney campaign?

The mormon and the birther. Hilarious :lamo

They do sorta resemble each other....

When the call came into to Romney campaign HQ, and the top advisors got the word, there was no applause or cheering? Or 'Yes, we got it!!'

I bet when Romney himself was told, there was much eye-rolling and sarcasm (because Mormons aren't allowed to say, 'f--- me!')

Between Trump and these kids, I don't see how he can lose. :D

As funny as it might be, it's definitely positive. Romney needs an establishment jerk in his corner who can counter the dickheadedness of Gingrich.

That said, Gingrich's dickheadedness makes him the best opponent to Obama.

Why is Romney making it so ****ing easy for Obama? Romney's political acumen in nowhere to be seen.

He's a nice, honest, trusting fella. It's the same reason he lost to Huckabee and McCain last time around. He doesn't like to sling mud, and he doesn't like to stoop down to people's level, hoping honest people will see for themselves what's going on.

The problem is American politics have changed tremendously since Reagan's time. Today's America isn't as honest as it used to be. Cable news and the internet have made soundbytes far easier to exploit, and people are looking for the smallest details to make fun of in order to fit in with their own social networks.

Romney's banking on the older crowd, but he doesn't have the social issues down for that either. On top of that, Gingrich staunchly emphasizes his Irish Catholic pride all over the place which the religious right can take pride in without appearing to be a radical Mormon.

Ronmey's face in that picture is priceless. He is like oh god what did I just get endorsed by?

Is him being a birther your idea of being honest and trusting fellow?

You've got to be kidding. Romney spent over $15 million in Florida and 99% of the ads were negative. He won the last two debates by going on the offensive (no pun intended).

There's nothing dishonest about demanding due process.

Romney's engagement in Florida was him turning over a new leaf. That wasn't classic Romney.

If he continues to do so, it's just what he has to do to win in today's age.

Who the F is Donald Trump to endorse anyone? Who the F cares what Trump thinks? Seriously? It is pretty arrogant of him to believe that his endorsement means anything to anyone.

Au contraire: saying or doing whatever is necessary to benefit Mitt Romney is classic Mitt Romney.

Nothing to see.
Just a rich guy endorsing another rich guy.

Oh great! This will hurt Romoney!

Has Trump asked Romney for his long form birth certificate to prove he's a US citizen and not a citizen of Mexico? ;^)
