Romney's banking on the older crowd, but he doesn't have the social issues down for that either.
– Trump told Daily Beast columnist Meghan McCain that Romney is “going to lose” because he can’t connect with voters. “No, he’s going to lose. He doesn’t resonate, you know? Or he would have won last time, in all fairness to your father! He was scheduled to win last time, and he didn’t because your father outdid him. You understand. I watched [Romney] make a speech, and it was all these little trivial statements.”
– Trump told CNN that Romney killed jobs at Bain Capital. “Mitt Romney is basically a small business guy.” “He walked away with some money from a very good company that he didn’t create. He worked there, he didn’t create. He would buy companies, he’d close companies, he’d get rid of jobs.”
– Trump slammed Romney’s record as governor on ABC. “If you look at his record as governor, it wasn’t totally stellar. His job production was not great at all. In fact, it was the third worst in the nation. There are some pretty negative things with respect to Mitt Romney, which frankly he’s going to have to overcome.”
– Trump chided Romney’s $10,000 bet. “I don’t talk about how rich I am. Other people do. I don’t want to talk about how rich I am.”
– When Romney turned down Trump’s debate, Trump was not happy. “I was particularly surprised with Mitt Romney because he wants my endorsement very badly.”
I'm still trying to figure out where he stands on social issues. He's flip-flopped on so many issues it's hard to keep track.
Who the F is Donald Trump to endorse anyone? Who the F cares what Trump thinks? Seriously? It is pretty arrogant of him to believe that his endorsement means anything to anyone.
Pro immigration amnesty, pro gay marriage, pro environmentalism, pro-abortion (only opposes reducing the age for morning after pill availability).
Has Trump asked Romney for his long form birth certificate to prove he's a US citizen and not a citizen of Mexico? ;^)
They do sorta resemble each other....
No clown face for the wife? Here you go::mrgreen:
No clown face for the wife?
No clown face for the wife?
It's too bad it's not Gingrich, or that would be an option.

I wonder if Trump subscribed to the birther theory that your parents have to be citizens for you to be "natural-born" even if you're born here. That would disqualify Romney. And Trump himself, since his mother was born in Scotland.
The Romney family originally left the US for Mexico because they wanted to continue practising polygamy. Mitt's father, George, was born in Mexico, but the family was forced to return to America because of the Mexican Revolution.(George) Romney's grandparents were polygamous Mormons who fled the United States with their children due to the federal government's opposition to polygamy. His maternal grandfather was Helaman Pratt (1846–1909), who presided over the Mormon mission in Mexico City before moving to the Mexican state of Chihuahua and who was the son of original Mormon apostle Parley P. Pratt (1807–1857).
..... Romney's parents, Gaskell Romney (1871–1955) and Anna Amelia Pratt (1876–1926), were American citizens and natives of Utah. They married in 1895 in Mexico and lived in Colonia Dublán in Galeana in the state of Chihuahua (one of the Mormon colonies in Mexico) where George was born on July 8, 1907. They practiced monogamy (polygamy having gone into decline following the 1890 Manifesto). George had three older brothers, two younger brothers, and a younger sister.
The Mexican Revolution broke out in 1910 and the Mormon colonies were endangered in 1911–1912 by raids from marauders ..... The Romney family fled and returned to the United States in July 1912, leaving their home and almost all of their property behind.

Apparently Trump is only interested in questioning Obama's citizenship - Mitt Romney gets a "free pass."
And to add, Obama's father wasn't a US citizen.
