Question to Romney Supporters

Can you defend Romeny-care?

You have to defend people paying for indigent health care via property taxes in the alternative. There already is universal health care via emergency rooms. That is paid for primarily by property taxes. Paying property taxes is not optional nor can landlords not pay property taxes. So you pay for free universal health care now, like it or not.

People in this country need to realize that we already had a nearly-nationalized health care system in this country even before Health Care Reform -- but without any of the benefits. The employer health insurance deduction costs the government about $185 billion per year in lost revenue and another $250 billion in lost payrtoll tax revenue. That's $435 billion in government support per year, without even figuring in Medicare, Medicaid, and the VA.

Looks very similar yet because one comes from a site that you don't like you discount the message and attack the messenger. What is it about liberalism that creaates this kind of loyalty?

Truth is based on facts. Right-wing sources keep saying the same thing, even if it doesn't resemble the truth at all. Your main candidate (Mitt) keeps claiming that the economy is so bad and wants to turn things around!

The only problem with his comment is that turning things around today would mean going back to where Doofus Bush put us!

Edited for accuracy.

It certainly is in this circumstance..... the issue is about government imposition of a mandate to buy health insurance. Whether this imposition is a state or federal mandate is moot.

Moreover, Romney even advocated the federal mandate.

Hence, in this circumstance, he is trying to hide behind the tenth amendment, but its a silly to shallow argument. Its a rationalization.

I didn't hear Romney endorsing nationalized health care in the video. In fact, he said the same thing I am.... that it is ok for a state to pass mandated healthcare, but the 10th Amendment does not allow the federal government to.

Thanks for reinforcing my post.
