Herman Cain endorses Newt

the obvious comes to mind..... players sticking up for one another.

Here was the event:

Not a surprise. Both those men have admired each other since the 90s and both like committing adultery so they have something in common.

Sir, we have no proof of adultery on Cains part. On Gingrich of course, because he said it himself.

When asked if he had an affair:
The honest answer is yes, there are times that I have fallen short of my own standards. There's certainly times when I've fallen short of God's standards

One adulterer endorsing another......this is news?

Yeah.....riiiiiight. He was just paying her tons of money and not telling his wife. Okie dokie.

Regardless, Republicans will eventually have to kiss the frog (Romney).

True conservatives are "turned-off" by Romney.

I expect to see a lot of third party votes this year if Romney is the Republican nominee.

What is the name of that river in Egypt?

We can only hope and pray.

Wow, Palin, Cain, and Perry. I'm oozing with anticipation for the cringe-worthy ads come November.

So Clinton is going to endorse Newt as well?

Might as well run a frog in the main election against a turd of a toad

Nope.... you are going to fall in love with him. I'll bookmark your post and show it to you again in October.

Don't forget about John Edwards.

These guys ought to be easy endorsements for Newt, as they are members of the brotherhood of cheaters:.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Former CA Governor
Mark Sanford Former SC Governor
Christopher Lee Former NY Congressman
John Ensign Former NV Senator
David Vetters Current LA Senator
Rudy Giuliani Former NYC Mayor, Presidential Candidate
Marc Souder Former Indiana Congressman
Larry Craig Former Idaho Senator
Mark Foley Former FL Senator

Well, maybe not the last two as they swing from the other side so perhaps can't relate.....

(each party as plenty of scumbags. It's just that the Republicans get all self righteous on the subject of morality and deliver no better (if not worse) than their counterparts)

Some endorsements are more a curse than a blessing....

Good point, at least Newt doesn't deny being a dick hound unlike Edwards.
and unlike Bill Clinton.

So I suppose the offense the Republican adulterers make according to Democrats on this forum is not lying about it.

No, the offense is telling the world they are all about God, morality and family values.... then behaving very badly.

Huh? Edwards and Clinton both declared themselves to be Christians. But it would seem you are confirming an allegation of the religious rightwing that Democrats are dominated by atheists so even when Democrat candidates and officials like Obama SAY they are Christian really all Democrats know they don't mean it and really they are not.

That's you point, right?

So, for example, when Obama said the "walks with God" and talks with God, really Obama is just being a big liar - but then your point is that all honest politicians should lie.

You make a point, the GOP is full of sanctimonious holier than though "family values" fascists who tend to be getting some trim on the side (or in Craig's case, maybe some dick)

but the dems main hypocrisy is uber wealthy elites who pretend to care about the poor and whine that the rich aren't taxed enough while doing everything they can to avoid taxes and make more money

Guys, this whole thing is freaking me out. I am now once again an undecided voter. I am a die hard Cainiac. When Cain dropped out I felt like someone had punched me in the gut and knocked all the wind out of me. Then I started supporting Cain Solutions and promoting 999. Eventually I decided to get behind Rick Santorum . He's a really good man and a true Conservative. Have come to be online friends with many wonderful Santorum people while still connecting with Cain supporters. Now that he has endorsed Newt and Newt has offered him a position on tax reform, I just feel confused about where I stand. I absolutely love Cain and his ideas, but Santorum is such a great guy, but with no bold solutions. Everyone is being mean to me now in the Santorum groups and the Cain groups. That's why I'm venting here on DP where everyone is so nice and understanding.
