I thought he took a hit for a bit then went back up. Don't remember though. Caine surged after accusations about his infidelity before he dropped like a stone.

2 problems with this. One is it doesnt serve the public interest to wait. Second it betrays a gigantic lack of ethics. Yes, yes, Im sure both sides do this all the time---that does not make it right or ethical. Hey Temporal, if you really believe this, you ought to run for office, you will fit right into DC ethics. Which, of course is part of whats wrong with politics today.

The ‘something’ Leader Pelosi knows is that Newt Gingrich will not be President of the United States. She made that clear last night,” said spokesperson Drew Hammill. “Leader Pelosi previously made a reference to the extensive amount of information that is in the public record, including the comprehensive committee report with which the public may not be fully aware.”

Pelosi issued a statement Wednesday, saying, “Any reference I would make to the Ethics Committee is confined to the public record.”

Polls aren't immediate. He lasted a very short time after the news about him came out. Obama can go after Newt with valid information and it's just a part of the campaign. Pelosi is so despised that she will cause the opposite if she attacks him IMO.

We'll see. Personall I think she's just saying "Look at me!!! Nobody has been paying attention to me, look at me!!!".

Well I think those that despise Pelosi so badly are already in line with Gingrich so if she spoke out, then getting the mad even more mad doesn't really have an expanding effect on the population that does despise her. It'd just take the temperature of those that are boiling and raise it to boiling over.
