Tonight's debate just secured President Obama's re-election. And they have Ron Paul to thank for it.
If you watched tonight's debate until the end, what you saw to close the event was Ron Paul telling the American people that the Republican Party has made a mess of things for a long time and that his party was not ready to govern.
Rick Santorum told America that he and he alone has been the sole warrior for those Conservative principles the Tea Party has been fighting for.
Meanwhile, one minute Newt Gingrinch told America three things: 1) he was a "lobbyist" for Freddie Mac and was paid $1.6 million for given "strategic advice"; 2) he lead the way for most of the young "Tea Party" Conservatives in Congress today; and, 3) that he has been a staunch Republican Conservative from as far back as 1964. But immediately after listening to Mr. Santorum describe his version of true Conservatism, suddenly Mr. Gingrich "agrees" with everything Mr. Santorum said.
And then there's Mitt Romney defending his wealth yet saying to the American People he shouldn't pay higher taxes than middle-class Americans. And what did he say was his tax rate? 15 percent! And what is the tax rate of most middle-class Americans? For most of us it's atleast 25 percent if not more. Oh! Then CNN reporters announce later after the debate that Mr. Romney received income not only from Freddie Mac, but Fannie Mae as well.
There was soooooo much more that was said in that debate that just floored me! But, if people were paying attention, this debate should effectively kill any chance any of these Republican candidates has to winning the White House. Doubt me? Go back and really listen to each candidate's commentary at the end of the debate.
WELCOME TO A SECOND TERM, MR. PRESIDENT OBAMA!!!
