Misleading BHO ad?

When you hear in this add ‘America’s clean energy industry 2.7 million jobs’ do you feel this is attributable to BHO?

Obama for America 2012 TV AD - The Facts About President Obama's Energy Record - YouTube

Per the Brookings Institute report:

The clean economy, which employs some 2.7 million workers, encompasses a significant number of jobs in establishments spread across a diverse group of industries...

But…

…Overall, today’s clean economy establishments added half a million jobs between 2003 and 2010, expanding at an annual rate of 3.4 percent…

Yep...misleading as hell...but it's a typical liberal campaign ad, for sure...trying to run on his record. LOL!!

ABC News are fact checkers??? HA!! And Common Cause is the source for his record on ethics??? DOUBLE HA!!

The whole ad is a load of ideological, unsubstantiated crap.

Think of it like your resume. It's not "false" but it makes you look a little better than reality.

I see nothing wrong with this ad. Green energy has always been one of Obama's focuses, and this ad is showcasing the fruits of that focus.

Maybe others but I use initials for brevity and have done so prior to his election, same for GWB. When discussing presidents prior to 2000 I typically use their last names as most on these forums are too young to know them by their initials. I personally feel those how make an issue about his middle name and those who make an issue about those who use his FULL middle (as you did) are incredibly immature and shallow. I mean really, it’s just a name.

Even with a shot at me in there... I actually agree with your premise. I've already seen it tossed around in debate here so I see BHO thrown in there, seem to tie together rather well. My mistake for saying you were pushing the idiotic middle name thing to disparage him with bigoted intentions. I'm sorry. And you are right.

When I first saw the thread, I assumed it was mistake and that the add had run exclusively on HBO. The Hussein stuff is really old. He's not a Muslim, and even if he was, a secular Muslim is infinitely better than an evangelical Christian.

Hussein means "handsome."

Conservatives are putting emphasis on "handsome" when describing Obama.

I use GHWB, JFK, FDR, LBJ, GWB, and BHO. And if Gingrich became president, I'll use NLG! It has nothing to do with Obama's muslim faith.
