Wow...way harsh....I'm new here? I'm against block ops, I would get rid of all of the tax cuts, the Patriot Act sucks.....all that being said there isn't one politician that I agree with near 100% - nor are there any people, non-politicians that I agree with 100%. Life is full of hard choices and ultimately, for me, I have to decide who is closest to my tenets and go from there. I don't dislike someone if they're a Republican...I dislike someone for many different reasons but not because of who they vote for.

Harsh? Simply pointing out a factual reality. If you can show how Romney's persona is being wholesale embraced by the GOP with a well below 50% approval rating, then you have a legit point. At the end of the day, most people are going to do what you described in the second part of that post...swallow hard and vote for him because he is most closely aligned with their ideology. Nothing more...nothing less.
